Eminence Lab12 Generation II 12" Subwoofer
Good performance, Great construction, seems as if will be a durable sub driver.
HEAVY, would probably collapse a cheap speaker cab just due to weight.

Eminence Delta Pro-12A 12" Cast Frame Driver
I used this speaker in the "snail" cabinet design (B. Fitz...). It was my first attempt at DIY so I was very skeptical about what results I might get. I built this cab for my niece who plays the electric bass guitar. The band I play in used this cab to reinforce the bass guitar and kick drum the week after I finished it--just to see how it would really respond. Some time after giving the cab to my niece I purchased a JBL sub--hmm... I wish I had just built another snail...

Selenium 12PW3-SLF 12" Driver
I used these in several lightweight small PA.s and in several monitor cabinets. I was amazed at the low freg. response. Many speakers exagerate their abilities. This one performs. Very clean mid bass and clear vocals. I usually cross the highs at 1600k. Works well for me. I have used several of these as replacements for some low end cabinets and wow what a difference without breaking the bank.

Pyle Pro PPA12 12" PA Speaker
Around 15 years ago I aquired a set of 15" Pyle Drivers. Fist I put them in a 2x15 cab and used them with an Accoustic 150 amp head for a guitar amp. After a few years I got a new amp with an overdrive channel and put the Pyles in a PA system driven by a powerful Peavey power amp. I liked the vocal quality so well that I moved the Pyles to the monitor system where I have kept them for several years. So I loaded a 4x12 cabinet with 4 brand new shinny Pyle Pro PPA12 12" PA Speakers. I can tell immediately that these speaker are of similar quality. God only knows where they will be in 15 years but, it is for sure that they will be in use somewhere. A valuable asset at $30.00 a peice.

Speakers sound excellent. Make the PA really come alive.

Eminence Beta-12LTA 12" Full-Range/PA Driver
Bought this speaker to replace a faulty one in a Roland cabinet, which I use two of them in stereo for keyboards. The dual cone design on this model icreased the higher frequency range. It sounds very good, with excellent articulation between notes. When comparing it to the stock speaker, the original one sounded muddy, with a noticable dropoff, or hollow spot between 4000-6600hz. I have ordered another to replace the original in my other cabinet, although it isn't broken. These just sound so much better. In short, a very reasonably priced upgrade!

Eminence Delta-12A 12" Driver 8 Ohm
Bought 4 of these for two custom built double 12" & horn cabs for a club. I was very impressed with how "quick and tight" these are for the price. Each driver is being fed 400 watts of rap dj mixer distorion and have not failed yet.

Eminence Delta-12LFA 12" Low Frequency Driver
I use an Avatar B212 Delta speaker cabs loaded with these speakers with an Ampeg SVT-CL and the sound is awesome. Tons of bottom and punch, you will not be disappointed. I get a lot of compliments on the cab but I know the speakers have a lot to do with it. I'm bummed Avatar stopped using these speakers but if anything should happen to either or my cabs I know I will load thee speakers into any cab I do use.

Eminence Deltalite II 2512 Neo 12" Driver
Very sensitive, nice vocal clarity works well with the ASD1001 as a mid power monitor combo. Xover takes some tuning to smooth it out if you are doing a passive one. Bottom end is a little lacking but above 90hz its well worth the money if you have weight issues.

Eminence Definimax 4012HO 12" Driver
I purchased 2 of these to go into a 2 X 12 (Aguilar style) cab I built. I am running 700 watts into the two in parallel ( 4 ohms ). They kick out a clean sound and truly blow my pantlegs aside when I hit the e string!!! Great speakers.

Goldwood GW-1238/PA 12" Guitar Speaker
This is an old-school, Plain-Jane, vanilla 12 inch, that performs better in every way than expensive name-brand speakers that cost three to six times as much.
We have used this and similar speakers as replacements in Fender, Marshall, Vox, Roland and other amps. They have always worked better than the OEM speakers and they cost a ton less.

Selenium 12PW5-SLF 12" 300W PA Driver
Used it in a single 12 scoop cabinet for bass. No crossover. The 4K top end is adequate. For reference, SVT boxes roll into oblivion around 5K. Works pretty well and sounds very good for this application. I suspect in a mid power PA application it would do pretty well.

Goldwood GW-12120 12" Deluxe PA Woofer
We purchased over a dozen of these drivers for use in a multi-cabinet system.Mounting them is a challenge, due to a recess in the flanged lip.Chinese construction.Manufacturing is a bit shoddy, many of these didnt have the mounting holes thru drilled, just partway thru.Acoustical performance is a bit lacking,we shoulda spent $20 more each and went with the Eminence Delta or Kappa.Lesson learned.

Eminence Kappa Pro-12A 12" Cast Frame Driver
My main application was a horn loaded mid-bass from 80-300 Hz that was designed around this specific driver. Highest EBP in its price class, period. It performed as per the models - very, very, very LOUD - able to keep up with labhorns. I've played with this driver in small vented boxes, and it does well in about 1 cubic foot. Only downside is that it's top end isn't as nice as the Delta series, so it's more at home in a 3 way than a 2 way. Unless you're using a 2" on top. Teamed up with a couple of 6" and a 1" horn/driver, the box is still small enough - and cheap enough - to be thinking "line array".

B&C 12HPL76 12" Neodymium Woofer
Thanks to Parts Express and the reputable manufacturers they represent for providing customers with crucial specifications! Without those facts, we d be left with only marketing hype and mythology to select speakers. This wonderful speaker is a case in point.
Now
Would you spend $170,000 for a bare-bones 30-horsepower Volkswagen when you could have a new 350-horsepower Ferrari for three grand less?
Compare this to a famous so-called guitar-speaker in the same price range.
This has MORE than TEN TIMES the power-handling, (350 watts vs. 30 watts) smoother response, and a lower resonant frequency (50 Hz) that is MUCH more appropriate for guitar-range.
Some famous guitar-speakers have a resonant freq around 90 or 100 Hz! Remember; the low string on guitar is around 82 Hz, and if you are a modern drop-D player (or lower) you definitely need a lower resonant frequency with a closed-back cabinet.
The 350 watt B&C uses superior materials, design and professional-quality construction. Yet it actually costs LESS than a stamped-basket, feeble 30-watt job.
This B&C also does NOT exhibit that annoying harsh hump around 2 to 3 kHz that misinformed musicians believe sounds British. Don t buy that hype! It is easier to play loud with a smoother frequency response. You can please more people (including yourself) and annoy fewer people than with your pointy thirty-watters.
This sexy Italian beauty weighs almost HALF of the venerable big-dogs like JBL and EV, yet has similar if not superior performance.
Send Red Fang to the dentist to get his bleeding gums fixed. Then send him to the Hearing specialist to see why he is deaf at 2.5Khz.
Check the specs for yourself. Make an intelligent informed decision.
For three bucks less than a flimsy hump-back honker, you can have this sexy, svelte Italian hottie. It s like paying for a used Volkswagen with broken air-conditioning, but getting a brand new Ferrari.

B&C 12PS100 12" Woofer
So I have had this sub in
use for awhile now in a PA. It has been beat hard.
All it has done is given me pure clean bass.
The only reason it doesn't get a perfect 5 is the cost.
I am going to test the Kappa Pro-12A
in its place as they model the same. Except overall SPL is a bit different due to power handling level differences. So check that item to see if I have got it done and my thoughts.

Eminence Alpha-12A 12" Guitar/PA Driver
This performed very well in a small and light-weight acoustic suspension cabinet as a low to moderate volume bass guitar speaker. It is being used with a 140 watt amplifier without a problem. If you are tired of carting around heavy bass guitar equipment and play with acoustic/folk/country groups, this might be your solution.

Eminence Kappalite 3012HO Neo 12" Driver
I'm about to get technical here, so let me start by saying that these speakers sound awesome!
I'm a professional musician who has been designing and building my own bass guitar and PA cabinets for over 20 years. I was not happy with the performance of many commercial bass speakers, even the big name ones. Most of them sounded good until you turned them up. I learned that most bass guitar speakers compromised excursion in order to gain efficiency. A 15" rated at 400 watts ran out of excursion at 100 watts. Looking at speakers with more low end capability, I found they either lacked efficiency or the high end rolled off.
I was also looking for a powerful compact system and began working with 12" speakers. When Eminence came out with the Delta 12 LF, I used them for their ample excursion and power handling, but wished they had just a little more efficiency and high end. They did outperform many 15" speakers in high power applications and I was pleased with them nonetheless.
When the Kappalite 3012HO came out, the specs looked to good to be true. It had more of everything I wanted in a bass speaker. More excursion (Xmax), higher efficiency, extended upper midrange, and lower weight.
I ordered two and installed them in a 2.8 cubic foot Flite cabinet. These cabinets are made of lightweight composite material. I can carry this with one hand. The low end is full and undistorted and the mids remain clear and defined, even at full power.
I haven't tried them in PA application yet, but everything about them tells me they would be an excellent choice. They should be able to handle instruments, drums and vocals without IM distortion even at high levels.
I would like to add that if you are comparing "Xmax" of speakers from other manufacturers, that many of them embellish that spec, while Eminence rates theirs conservatively, based on the voice coil overhang. The excursion capability of Eminence speakers is comparable to many other brands claiming a larger Xmax.

I'm using this speaker in a PA system for an acoustic act. Although not as efficient as something like an EV speaker, it sounds great and I'm very happy with purchase.
