Dayton SA240-B 240W Subwoofer Amplifier with Boost
I like everything about this plate amp. I use it with a corner loaded folded bass horn. The 6dB/octave boost at 30 Hz equalizes the rolloff experienced by my compact bass horn.
The variable gain and crossover features work well. I have system optimized to Flat using an RTA measurement system at the primary listener position. Response is excellent to 30 Hz, and very good below that. This amp and sub rattle the house walls. They reveal a whole dimension of sound otherwise not audible from a standard TV set.
Mine is connected using RCA line out from my console TV into the SA240B. The large TV console offers very good sound, but cannot produce sub level information. The SA240B combined with my bass horn adds the missing depth from both TV and DVD sources.
The unit is fairly large, quite solid, and runs cool to the touch. I'm entirely satisifed with the build quality and sound. It can be enclosed in a box or left free standing in out-of-sight locations.

Dayton SA70 70W Subwoofer Amplifier
I have two of these plate amps one each for a pair of subs in my HT room. They do a good job and are easy to use. Just remember that they are 70watt amps and can't push a big 15" sub.

Dayton SA25 25W Subwoofer Amplifier
I used this amp in a 2.1 computer speaker setup. It powers a TB W5-876SD. Sound and volume is very decent. Compared to store bought stuff with the same specs, it is great.
My only compliant is, it doesn't auto shut off when not in use (no signal shut off).
I've read some complaints about this amp being under powered, but matched with a small sub, it will work. I wouldn't recommend for HT use, but for PC or small room, bed room use, it will get the job done and sound clean.
For what I use it for, it gets plenty loud. Loud enough to jam to MP3s, WMA's, PC stuff.
I actually used this amp with the TB woofer and 3" TB full range drivers for my first project. Without using a design found on the internet, I was able to use WinISD and build a cheap 2.1 system to beat Blows. It was very easy to do this.
If you don't have a need for bigger power, give this baby plate amp a try.

Dayton HPSA500 500W Subwoofer Amplifier
I have used this amplifier in many applications from a single 10" subwoofer to a dual 12" ported application with great success. While I do wish it was 2 ohm stable, it is rated at a healthy 500 watts in to 4 ohms which is plenty of power for the average Joe. I did run it at a 3 ohms load (dual 6 ohm parallel) with no problems except it does run fairly hot. Then again it was being ran at a lower than advised impedance so what could I expect. I did try it at 2 ohms but it ran way to hot and was simply not up to the task. When ran properly using a good subwoofer in correct enclosure this thing rocks. If you needed more power there is always the HPSA1000. I rated the features category a 4.5/5.0 because it has no outputs and also does not have any high level inputs/outputs. Other than that all the other features it carries are great! Also like all class G amps this thing is smooth and sounds great even in you run hard for hours and hours. Definatly a great buy!

Dayton HPSA1000 1000W Subwoofer Amplifier
I bought one of these to power a 4 12" subwoofer modeled from an EV MTL-4. The speakers are 16 ohm so the load in the amp is 4 ohm. The amp does fine unles you are play heavy bass tracks like hip hop. The annoying input sensitivity circuit will not reset itself. You must manually turn the amp off then back on. If you are used to rack mount amps that you can pound the clips lights all night, then this amp is probably not for you. It would be nice if the amp had a clip light so you knew when your are pushing to hard. This type of protection reminds me of the gemini amps. I have opted to go back to the qsc 1310 which powered the sub before but then I would have to fill the hole cut for the amp. So I am kind of stuck.
