Dayton DC200-8 8" Classic Woofer
This driver delivers great bass in both vented and sealed enclosures and has a smooth enough midrange response to be used in a two way design. The quality of sound greatly exceeds the cost of the driver. A great choice for a project you will be proud of.

Goldwood GW-208/8 8" OEM Woofer 8 Ohm
i bought two of these for my 19x8 speaker boxes. i am using these as a side firing design. i experienced not to high not low bass. this woofer moves more air than i thought it would have. this woofer runs great in a 19x8 box with a two inch port tube. this was better than i thought it would be.

Dayton ST210-8 8" Series II Woofer
I installed this crossed over as the subwoofer in a Bose 10.2 tower speaker. I can't hear any difference between it and the subwoofer that came in the other tower so i'm very happy with it.

Dayton RS225-4 8" Reference Woofer 4 Ohm
Great as the bottom end of a 3 way project. Good sensitivity and deep, undistorted bass. If you can handle a 4 ohm load this is a near perfect woofer.

Pioneer B20FU20-54F 8" Heavy Duty Woofer
I own some high dollar Radio Shack speakers - the woofers blew out - I replaced them with these 8" heavy duty Pioneers and noticed an immediate improvement to the total frequency response - Old speakers sounding better than new for less than 50 bucks! What a value!!

Dayton RS225S-8 8" Reference Shielded Woofer 8 Ohm
I'm really impressed with this woofer. It's got a ton of Xmax and can pump out vented F3's around 29Hz, and F10's around 22Hz, well into the range of a dedicated subwoofer. But unlike a subwoofer, this is a very well constructed driver that stays linear to 1khz, well into midrange territory, and the black anodized cones are beautiful in most designs. Cross it at close to 800Hz with an RS52 midrange and you're on your way to a great 3-way design.

Goldwood GW-8024 8" Butyl Surround Woofer 4 Ohm
I used this little sub to replace the factory sub in my Explorer's factory "premium" system after it started buzzing due to suspension rot.
This is a decent little speaker for the price, but the factory sub amp in my Explorer actually throws it up against it's physical limits quite easily. So don't use this for anything other than really low power situations.

Goldwood GW-8PC-30-4 8" Heavy Duty Woofer 4 Ohm
The goal was to build a pair for both HT and stereo setups. I paired it with a Tang Band tweeter (25-1414SC) crossed over @ 2500Hz 12db L.R. Together they are clear and have good imaging. For loudness, I power them with 450 watts per channel without a problem. They get as loud as I can handle without distortion. For the price and flexible range, you can't beat these woofers. They can play up to 4k down to 39 Hz (easy to crossover). I tuned the box at 40 Hz and bass output is well enough to that I don't have to make it a 3-way system. V-max is low, but it didn't matter because bass output shakes the room. Overall couldn't be happier. If you need more volume than a 6 woofer, these are the answer.

HiVi M8N 8" Aluminum/Magnesium Woofer
I used this woofer in a 2way crossed at around 2khz, it does wellat maintaining detail needed for the midrange while impressive xmax allows for great bass extension.

Usher 8137A 8" Kevlar/Carbon Fiber Woofer
I previously owned the Dayton Reference RS225 midbass. I must say that these don't have as much low end authority as the Daytons, but they do have a lot more top end dispersion. They really brought my midrange alive! Very tight and accurate as well. They are very smooth in higher power applications.

Goldwood GW-208/4 8" OEM Woofer 4 Ohm
Surround and cone are good quality and built well. Used as replacement in 1970's B&O S45's. Fit good and sound is as good or better than originals (I compared side by side).

Aurum Cantus AC-200MKII 8" Carbon Fiber Sandwich Woofer
The Aurum Cantus AC-200MKII 8" Carbon Fiber Sandwich Woofer is perfect when used as a mid-bass, because it doesn't need a separate crossover to operate as a mid-bass. Therefore, I have always wanted to have a four-way speaker system, but knew not how to connect to a crossover and come up with a mid-bass when everything that connects to the woofer section of the crossover is a bass. I love four-way speaker sound. Besides, the bass sounds much clearer and with a definition. And, the highs seem to have a little bit of bass. Thank you so very much for having this product in your catalog, and in your store.

HiVi F8 8" Bass/Midrange
I don't know exactly what I was expecting from these when I got them... I was hoping they'd be killer... they exceed all of my hopes...
Very natural throughout the frequency response, nice, tight bass, and minimal breakup. The yellow is kinda cool, too... nice stiff Kevlar/paper cones, and a well made surround. Overall, very well made, and I'll definitely purchase these again when I have a project calling for a good 8" driver. I have these in a set of rather small boxes (2-way), bookshelf boxes, in fact, about 12"Hx10"Wx7"D, with a 2" port, and mated with a set of Advent paper cone tweeters (they were kicking around the basement). I was absolutely blown away by the huge sound from the tiny boxes :) I need some new tweets for them, now!

Dynavox LW8004PMR 8" Woofer
I use this driver in the EnABL reference system. The inherent low distortion allows the EnABL reduction of reflections and diffraction to provide outstanding performance with a first order crossover into a 3 inch dome midrange. Plus, you can disassemble the motor structure and mark the pieces for alignment and it goes back together without fuss. Thus allowing treatment of both sides of the cone surface, to eliminate resonances caused by energy storing reflections. Highly reccomended.

Morel H8.1 8" Hybrid Series Woofer
After playing with the port tuning with these drivers I have a set of speakers that rival my Paradigm 11semk3 for bass production. They produce a cleaner tighter sounding bass that really hits you. They do not extend as low as the paradigms but there are close and I like the sound better. The speakers were built with an h8.1 and a morel tweeter crossed at 2Khz. I sit people down and have them tell me what speakers are on they always think its the very large Paradigms. I don't use a sub woofer with theses speakers. They can handle massive power make sure your boxes are well sealed. I have a NAD s100 preamp and Nad 218Thx amp connected to these and they can handle near full volume with any kind of music. The amp pushes out a max dynamic power of 280watts a side and these drivers love nearly all of it. As far as sound goes I can not complain in the least with any kind of music they have the punch and the low end. Great drivers well worth the money.

Morel MW-266 8" Poly Woofer
I think all Morel drivers are definitely among the most precisely controlled drivers available at their repective price-point and rival drivers costing many times this amount, but their woofers and mid-woofers are really stand out in the type of bass they produce. Never muddy or fatigueing and are extremely fast. I consider them to be "control freaks" in a good way.

HiVi D8.8 8" Poly Bass/Midrange Shielded
Folks, this driver is the most natural sounding 8 I have been able to get my hands on and the value means I can use these in designs working engineers can afford and still make money. It has a completely natural tone quality and can be run to 2.1Khz if crossed over 24 db. The low Fs and q parameters make it excellent for use with a 10 inch passive radiator in a 1 cu. foot box.

HiVi M8a 8" Aluminum/Magnesium Woofer
I used these for my drivers in a pair of DIY speakers I built for 2 channel music and 7 channel home theater. I thought the specs. sounded good for both. Out of the Styrofoam and onto the new speaker boxes. I thought no base. After two days of break in "hard rock break in" I thought I had my sub on. These speakers are a great compromise for both types of sound. Solid build very nice range. Used in a three way system with Wharfedale mid and infinity ribbon tweeter. I used the crossover from the infinity speaker I had.
