Dayton DC28F-8 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter
One of the top performance for the dollar tweeters there is. I've built over a dozen speakers using it, and have never experienced a failure. Sound is extended and fairly smooth. The low Fs allows it to work well in just about any two-way design.

Alesis 1" Shielded Soft Dome Tweeter
Used in conjunction with the Alesis 6 1/2" polys for some car speakers. If you have a big enough tweeter cavity to put them in, they are awesome. replaced some 4" coax factory dashboard speakers which were not that good. even in very noisy convertible the sound is loud and clear (and warm) without any harshness.

Vifa D19TD-05 3/4" Poly Dome Tweeter
I had a tweeter blown in my 6-1/2" Tannoy nearfield monitors. I looked online to see if I could find a replacement. I was surprised to find an exact replacement in your catalog. I've got them up and running again, and it didn't cost me near what the monitors sold for.

Vifa D25AG-35 1" Aluminum Dome Tweeter
it sounds with greate clarity
Dayton ND20FA-6 3/4" Neodymium Dome Tweeter
I used these in my car system. At 6ohm they have proper attenuation in conjunction with 4ohm door mid/bass. I built a 6db/octave 4200hz XO and these little tweeters will still handle a surprising amount of the mid/upper mid range at loud volumes. Power handling with this XO is a tad lacking with some music, but I'd imagine with a 12db/octave XO they would handle everything at full blast.
They sound great! Nice imaging. Probibly because they are true fabric domes; not the usual polymer stuff seen in alot of car audio.
The main feature of this is it's small size and shallow mount design. Allowing it to fit in just about anything, home or automotive.
At this price I dare you to find anything better quality!

HiVi TN28 Fabric Dome Tweeter
I'm using this more as a super-tweeter in a box with a 4 inch tang-band full range. It's an incredibly easy tweeter to work with, and looks decent. It's not the most natural sounding tweeter, but it is very fast-tactile even. To me, this makes for a more engaging, grabbing listening experience, even if it does have a little "grit" to it. Also-- very even and smooth off-axis.

HiVi SD1.1-A 1" Textile Dome Tweeter
They are very heavy. They make sweet sound easily without choosing cap that you gonna use.
Dayton DC28FS-8 1-1/8" Shielded Silk Dome Tweeter
I'm amazed every time I listen to these tweeter in my first project. The Dayton has a clear response at all sound levels.
Dayton ND16FA-6 5/8" Neodymium Dome Tweeter
smooth and pleasant sounding, used in a 3 way active system, Sony reciever amp, no eq, from 3.5k up, 24d/octave. Prefered this over the aura NT tweeter. No measurment set up yet so no objective analasys, but it's clean enough to have that certain "something" on cymbal work thats makes me smile when listening :) Thinking of using them in a LA next.

Goldwood GT-525 1" Soft Dome Tweeter
I got these as a replacement tweeter for some Infinity SM150 that I have and they sound awesome, not harsh, overwhelming, just a smooth natural sounding dome tweeter at a very affordable price, And they sound a little better than the origional pollycell tweets that came in the Infinitys , just had to do a little trimming to get them to fit. less than 10 bucks for this great sounding, looking tweeter you cant go wrong. So quit procrastinating and just buy it! Enjoy!

Dayton ND20FB-4 Rear-Mount 3/4" Neodymium Dome Tweeter
These tweeters are an exceptional value, and seem to be well made. They are VERY LOUD, and have crystal clear sound. I crossed them over at 8 khz, and they perform swimmingly!! I wouldn't cross them over any lower, they sound kinda harsh to me at lower x-over points than 8 khz. I just wish the mounting recess was 3/4" deep, as opposed to 5/8", so they could be rear-mounted in a 1 1/2" hole.
Dayton RS28A-4 1-1/8" Aluminum Dome Tweeter
Even crossed low (1500Hz), the RS28 is up to the task. The response is very smooth through the audible range, and distortion performance is among the best tweeters out there.
Dynamite looks too. The dark screen that provides for a phase shield mounting point makes for a very "stealthy" presentation. That and the black anodized aluminum dome just exude quality. Very well built.
The very flat impedance and extended low end response make this tweeter very easy to work into a nice crossover. Use 2nd or 3rd order networks below 2KHz since distortion performance begins to fall off below 1600Hz. This is a robust tweeter, and super steep slopes are not really necessary. If you keep the XO point (-6dB) above 1400Hz with a 3rd order filter, you'll be in great shape.
Tang Band 25-302SH 1" Shielded Neodymium Dome Tweeter
This tweeter performs beautifully. There are cheaper tweeters that will cross lower. In my case I was refitting the drivers in a cabinet where the tweeter was really cramped for space. With the narrow flange this unit fit well and with the some crossover help the results turned out very nice.

Dynavox TD2801XL 1-1/8" Silk Dome Tweeter
I mated this with a SEAS paper cone woofer about nine years ago. This is a great tweeter - very airy and fine. There are about four or five tweeters I would recommend without any reservations for any high-end project, and this is one of them.

Goldwood GT-302/S 1/2" Mylar Dome Tweeter Shielded

Pioneer FBDD69-51F 3/4" Polymer Dome Tweeter
If Your On A Budget and Building A Small Set Of Speakers And Still Want To Achive Good Clear Highs. These 3/4" Tweeters By Pioneer Are A Good Buy. I Built A Set Of 4" MTM's For A Gentleman Using These Tweeters! Very Impressive Sound, Highs Were Clear And Neat For A Tweeter Of This Size And Price Range!

Vifa XT25TG30-04 1" Dual Concentric Dome Tweeter
I own this tweeter. The look alone is worth the conversation when friends come over. Performance? It's all that it has been talked about.
This tweeter can be Jaw-drop rewarding when an excellent Crossover is executed. It's not for the neophyte DIYer. It hasn't been friendly with any 2nd-order Xover I could come up with if you want it all. A steeper xover may be rewarding.
I will say, if you can live with minor faults, a 1st order (C1=16.7uF) may do it for you. It may not offer much protection to the tweeter, but surprisingly pleasant.

Dayton DC25TS-8 1" Shielded Titanium Dome Tweeter
I used a few of these in tower speakers and a center channel and i found they had a lot of sibilance ('s' was very pronounced). They have a big spike in the high frequency which was causing this, so a stuck a 0.1mH inductor in series with this tweeter and it sounded great. The inductor is a quick fix for giving this tweeter a more neutral tone. The construction is good too (nicer flange than the DC28), but i was afraid of the spade connectors shorting on the metal shielding cup since they are very close so i put a layer of electrical tape around it.

Goldwood GT-324 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter 3-7/8" Round
great value and performance
Goldwood GT-336 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter 4-1/2" x 3-1/2"
replaced both tweeters in my JBL J325's, these tweets fit niceley, and improved the overall look of my JBL's.
Tang Band 28-847SD Shielded Neodymium Dome Tweeter
Takes up very little space which is can come in handy. Build quality is a bit better than I expected for $25. Sound quality is good, though honestly it's in a center channel system for watching movies, not a full-tilt tube amp wood floor with oriental rugs and wood walls listening room.

Goldwood GT-338 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter 5-1/2" x 3-1/2"
I recognise these from my acoustic image home theatre speakers which I love very much

Vifa D27TG-35 1" Silk Dome Tweeter
Great inexpensive tweeter for medium SPL living-room systems. Easy to design around, easy on the ears with proper attention to crossover and impedance slope. See the Tymphany data sheet for the recommended correction network and crossover recommendations.

Vifa D27TG-05 1" Silk Dome Tweeter
replaced blown tweeters in Onkyo floor standing 3 way speakers. Does ok. Good value for the price.

Morel MDT 22 1-1/8" Neodymium Tweeter
These Tweeters are Amazing...they are clear and crispy...high volume, high wattage...and yet they are sleek and small...They have a closed chamber and are really worth the bang for the buck...
I have 4 of these puppies...one each in my front Towers and one each for my rears....They are Amazing!!
Goldwood GT-302 2-3/8" Mylar Dome Tweeter
Ok, So what do you get for ~$2.00? An ok built tweeter with not a heck of a lot to it. The problem with that... Nothing.
I bought these to have an easy to work with "throw-in" tweeter when evaluating woofers x-over points and integration capabilities. I am actually very surprised! They have very little sizzle, GREAT dynamics and a boat load of top-end extension. What a fun little thing!
Great value for an inexpensive speaker set, a home theater, or even to use them in a more serious application.
Dayton ND28F-6 1-1/8" Neodymium Dome Tweeter
Used to replace substandard tweeters in an existing 3-way system. GREAT sound for the price. Smooth, detailed & airy. I just lucked-out as it integrated perfectly. What more could you ask for. SUPER VALUE.

Dayton DC25T-8 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter
Until i saw these i always used to use mb quarts at 1inch titanium but when they blew was to expensive to replace all the time so when P.E came around in 96 i got the flyer and read all the specs and bot a few and was like dam! these lil bastards are tight and clean and handle power and have bot 8 more for hme theater and thats the ticket in acoustics and clarity but still using mb quart x-overs. good habbits dont die so what yall waitin for buy a few and enjoy!
Morel MDT 12 1-1/8" Neodymium Tweeter
I mounted these in the door panels of my mitsubishi lancer by cutting holes for them, and they perform flawlessly! Driven by 40WRMS, they are extremely crisp and clear, and their fat freq. resp. compensated for my old and inappropriate crossover very well. If only the mounting plates weren't square . . .still working on that one.
Vifa DX25TG-05-04 1" Fabric Dome Tweeter
As good as the original speaker driver it replace.
Tang Band 25-1372SC 1" Titanium Tweeter
These are the loudest tweeters I have used. An L-Pad is a must for these. They are very sensitive and are all you will need for even a large tower. if your into funky rear or side firing tweeter systems this might be good choice. These are anything but dull. The 6ohm Znom makes crossover design a little more challenging. The tweeters have a nice foam under the mounting plate that will stop any air in or out of the cabinet it is mounted to. Mounting is easy and very clean looking even with out routing a recessed spot for them.
Tang Band 25-1719S 1" Ceramic Dome Tweeter
It doesn't sound bad ,but it cost too much.
Tang Band 13-1761S 1/2" Silk Dome Tweeter Pair
These tweeters are indeed VERY tiny and as such they can be mounted in some un-godly loations. I bought them to mount inside the 25mm voice coil of a 5" extended range driver. I currently have the woofer running fullrange and the TB's taking up the slack around 11KHZ @ 6db per octave. They sound fine, not fantastic but not bad, dispersion is quite good. They do not come with leads and the soldering pads do not have markings for polarity. These guys also exhibit a stray magnetic field so I had to super glue them (inside a tiny fabbed housing)to the top of the pole piece. Considering the price for the pair they are an excellent value.

Vifa D20TD-58-06 3/4" Dome Tweeter 6 Ohm
Excellent merchandise and super service. I would definitely order again!
Goldwood GT-322 1" Titanium Dome Tweeter 3-3/4" Square
Purchased to replace the tweeter in a peavey 652s. I compared the sound to an origional 652s, and the difference was too close to tell by ear. One somewhat noticable difference was on cymbal crashes, but even then I had to really listen. This, however, was not a bad difference. I have 4 652s, and would replace the tweeters with this tweeter should they fail. For the price, this is a great addition to any speaker cabinet.
Dayton DC28FT-8 1-1/8" Truncated Silk Dome Tweeter
great if you like clean and clear highs with a little extra mid. The frequency response on this is perfect because it doesn't sound 'tinny' or hard like some high frequency tweeters. Very well rounded.
Morel DMS 30 1-1/8" Shielded Soft Dome Tweeter
This morel tweeter is exceptionally chrisp and sweet. It brings into the sound stage solid highs and flowig high notes likes no other tweeter. Plus, power is no problem.
Cons>
be careful of the mixed large + and small - connectors> You might bend the small connector on wire connection.

Usher 9950-20 1-1/8" Textile Dome Tweeter
Used these in the 2007 stock Tacoma tweeter locations with very little modding in a truck install. Used Audiocontrol 2XS Crossover with some Dayton 7" Reference mids crossed over at 1800Hz / 72Hz with the rest going to the subs. Doors dual RAAM-matted with Ensolite and system powered by a US AMPS AX5600 with a Tang Band 8" as a sub. To say this is the best sounding car I've ever heard would be an understatement. However, these tweeters are the stars of the show. Just be sure that they fit in your car before you buy because they are very large.......
Tang Band 25-1166SJ 1" Neodymium Tweeter
Talk about a smooth sounding tweeter. Upper end vocals sound amazing and the higher frequencies(8K+) aren't harsh at all.
I have this tweeter running in the a-pillar of my '04 Dodge 4 door truck. It does very well of axis...I was actually quite surprised as I though I'd have to glass some pods in my a-pillar to get a smooth response out of these.
They are also crossed over at 2.5kz @ 24db/octave via my Eclipse 8053. The mid I'm running is the Dayton 180RS 7" mid, corss at 2kz @ 24db/octave as well. These two really do work well together, and the 2k and 2.5k crossover points were the best fit from what I experimented with.
Tang Band 25-1744S 1" Ceramic Dome Tweeter
I ALSO OWN A PAIR OF Tang Band 28-847SD TWEETERS AND THESE SEEM TO IMPROVE ON THESE A BIT WITH LOWER AND SMOOTHER FREQ RESPONSE. I RAN THESE IN MY CAR FOR A WEEK WITH NO MIDBASS JUST MY 15" SUB , I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE AMOUNT OF DEPTH AND IMAGING MUSIC STILL HAD.
Morel MDT 39 1-1/8" Compact Dome Tweeter
Have tried this unit in lieu of an Audax Titanium tweeter in a 3-way configuration. Achieved superior upper end performance with very little change to cross-over. Integrated well into system. Even phasing matched in. Measures and sounds good and stands up very well in A-B tests to known high end systems. No excess and no lacks. Fast. What about costs? I will still continue to buy it.
Morel MDT 29 1-1/8" Soft Dome Tweeter
Very good performing tweeter especially with the fluid removed. One of the very few tweeters that is ok to use with first order crossovers.
Don't remove the fluid if you don't understand what will change in qes and fs.

HiVi X1 1" Textile Dome Tweeter
I built a Tower Speaker Using Two of These Tweeters in Series...one facing front the other facing rear at an upward angle..I use these Towers in my Surround Sound System...I'm very pleased with these Tweeters..Outstanding!
I'm going to try a pair of these in my Car
Stereo...I will let you know how they sound.

Goldwood GT-510/S 1" Shielded Soft Dome Tweeter
I bought one of these for my first attempt at building some entry level HT speakers and must say I can't believe the sound they produce for being under $10! Very clear and very efficient.
Only con is the size of the shielded magnet and the connections being on either side of that magnet make it a rather tricky item to mount.
Goldwood GT-520 1" Soft Dome Horn Tweeter
These are a little bright for my taste out of the box, which surprised me for being a soft dome tweeter... but after a little EQ'ing, I was extremely impressed with the sound quality. I'm also not too sure about the 50wRMS power handling, as they do seem to break up a little bit at higher listening levels (but only on the higher frequencies). The upper midrange is phenominal at all sounds levels and I'm considering using a resistor (7-8khz) on these and getting a tweeter/supertweeter to take care of the upper frequencies.
I'll have to do some more playing/tweaking first, as I only have about 4-5hours listening time on them so far.

HiVi Q1R 1-1/8" Textile Dome Tweeter
great tweeter for the money.
1" Soft Dome Tweeter 4 Ohm
I like this tweeter, seemed well made, maybe not as loud as a SPL of 91 suggested. But, my criteria was: inexpensive, 4 ohm, clear sounding and functional and this speaker fit that criteria well.
Dayton DC28FST-8 1-1/8" Truncated Shielded Silk Dome Tweeter
very smooth response to what some tweeters might not be able to convincingly replicate.
Dayton RS28AS-4 1-1/8" Shielded Aluminum Dome Tweeter
The reference series is a nice solid tweeter. Good and heavy.
JAMO 20301 1-1/8" Soft Dome Shielded Tweeter
Not a bad tweeter, but the coil is 1", not 1-1/8" (I took one apart to check it), and Fs is too high for a 2-way with a low x-over. Would love to see someone come out with something in this form factor with a 1-1/8" or 1-1/4" coil and efficiency a couple dB hotter. (Can you say "higher power replacement for old Polk and Peerless tweeters"?)
Morel CAT 298 1-1/8" Soft Dome Tweeter
I needed a replacement tweeter for my 30 year old ESS Tempest speaker and this one is an excellent choice. My search lead me to Parts Express where I got very good advice and fast delivery. The cutout had to be altered slightly but otherwise installation was a snap. The sound is as close as my ears can detect to the other (original)speaker, so I am back in business with my old favorites.
Morel CAT 308 1-1/8" Soft Dome Tweeter
I recently purchased two of these tweeters for the satellites in a 2.1 speaker system I built. The Morel CAT308 is exceptionally clear and accurate without being overly bright. With ferrofluid damping, this unit has only a slight rise in impedance at its resonant frequency, so I didn't have to add any kind of resonance-correction network to the crossover. The build quality is also excellent. My only complaints would be that it is a little pricy, and that the solder tabs could be a little beefier.
I used this tweeter in a 0.25 cu. ft. enclosure with a Morel CAW638 woofer, crossed over at 2.5 kHz with a slope of 12 dB/octave.
Morel CAT 408 1-1/8" Compact Soft Dome Tweeter
At first listen I was taken back. I was not sure what I was hearing but after awhile I started to understand just how flat and accurate this tweeter really is. It truly made me rethink how a speaker should sound.
I love the results and would highly recommend this product. They sound fantastic!

Usher 9930-20 1-1/8" Textile Dome Tweeter
A great speaker and you can't beat the value. No mounting screws were included but not a big problem.
Tang Band 28-537SH 1-1/8" Fabric Dome Tweeter
I used these in an AR-2x rebuild, which need a tweet with a low crossover (1.2k) Noticed that these were recommended elsewhere on the web (search for product number.) I'm very happy with the product: they image very well, are detailed without being harsh or metallic or overly strident. Very musical through my Rotel RB-980. They're an improvement over the original AR's in my opinion. The only reason I don't rate them as 5's is that I have not been able to compare them to a higher-end product.
Usher 9950C-15 1-1/8" Shielded Textile Dome Tweeter
love this tweeter, there in my exodus 2641's. sound is full without being overly bright or harsh. detailed too. good value.

Vifa BC25SG19-04 1" Textile Dome Shielded Tweeter 4 Ohm
Built these speakers to use with a 16 watt per channel tube amp.
Used the 290-366 - Goldwood GW-1244 12" Butyl Surround Woofer 4 Ohm
and 279-177 - Vifa BC25SG19-04 1" Textile Dome Shielded Tweeter 4 Ohm,
Used a simple 6db crossover, a 027-940 - Jantzen 22uF 400V Crosscap Capacitor, with
The 255-220 Jantzen 0.33mH 18 AWG Air Core Inductor.
Constructed the two speaker boxes out of one sheet of plywood. The boxes are roughly 24 x 16 x 16 .
Great sound for the price, a little bright, but with a low end below 40Hz.
Would not hesitate to use the select components in another low power speaker project.
