I have used this wire in walls and through ceilings with great results. Very cost effective quality wire. I am the last guy to skimp on wire. I do not use wire smaller than 16 guage. You can not beat this price for using good wire for quality HT results when coupled with good drivers.

This is a good speaker wire. Very durable and heavy. Which is great when doing wall drops through a attic to a opening down below. The spool was cracked when I received it so it was a little hard to use on my wire spool holder.

You're not going to find a better quality 16-4 architectural speaker wire in this price range! Great quality wire, true 16 gauge, very fine strands, nice and flexible. Just a couple of minor quibbles. One, the jacket only marked every other foot, the odd numbers are not marked. Two, the box is a little flimsy so you might want to reinforce with packing tape before you try to feed the wire.

It's wire, what can I say? But it's more sturdy than what you would buy at a local department store and cheaper too -- even after shipping. I have pulled in over a thousand feet of this with no problems.

This wire is an overall good value, however several things make this not very installer friendly. First, the jacket is not flexible when compared to other off brands such as Remee. I found this wire hard to work with, and the jacket does not split without a fight. I would reccomend this to someone on a budget, but if your looking for good performance wire, this isn't it.
