Surround Kit For 10" Speaker Foam
This little kit does the refoam job just fine. My only complaint it I tore up my own dust cap during the job- it was doped like some old woofers are- it would have been nice to select from a few different replacement dust caps when ordering this kit. Otherwise excellent value for the money and does the job fine.

Surround Kit For 6-1/2" Speaker Foam
My Advent 2-way bookshelf speakers languished in the workshop with only a few surly spiders to keep them company. I planned to replace the drivers, but in perusing the PE catalog I found "surround repair kits." Never heard of such a thang! I ordered it and the rest is history. The kit was good quality, with a detailed pictorial manual covering the surround replacement process step-by-step. I salvaged the old surround and various cone components and then prepped them for the new surround installation. Easy - just a bit detailed - so I was patient... Here I sit, writing another review, listening to my favorite tunes on my Advents brought back to life. Awesome.

Surround Kit For 10" Cerwin Vega
Repaired my VS-80 and VS-100 Cerwin Vega's with ease. I bought these speakers back in 94, and they were one of the most efficient sounding speakers at the time with the biggest kick. However, through the years their performance began to deteriorate and I finally realized that the surrounds began to crack. After retrofitting them with the new foam surrounds, they sound as good as new. The only downside were the caps, which must be replaced and do not have the original "CA" logo.

Everything went well.The only thing I found that would help is marking the cone where the old surround was.After the new glue was put on,,,it was kind of hard figuring out if the new surround was centered.Otherwise,,,the instructions were excellent,materials were excellent,and easy to work with.

I wasn't sure when i purchased this kit if i woud be able to fix my speakers as easily as the person who recommended it to me did with theirs. But overall it was easier then i thought and am very satisfied with the results and would recommend it to anyone who can follow simple directions and use the few tools needed to complete the job.

Surround Kit For 9-1/2" Advent with Fiber Ring
I have used the standard 12" woofer refoam kit in the past and it worked fine. I inherited a pair of Dahquist DQ-10s with rotted surrounds so I thought I'd try this kit. The process is simple. It is crucial, though, to scrape as much remaining original adhesive off as possible to get the best contact, and be extremely careful removing the original dustcap so as not to cut the voicecoil leads. I installed the surrounds roll up instead of inverted as some recommend for this woofer. Before repairing the woofers, I had temporarily installed a pair of 12" woofers of similar construction, since these are 12" baskets, and they performed surprisingly well. After installing the repaired Advents, I didn't notice much of a dropoff in performance, probably because the DQ-10 crossover and enclosure are optimized for the long-throw Advent woofer. A much less expensive solution than a refoam or rebuild by the "authorized" Dahquist repair center, or anyone else for that matter.

This is a great product. Jbl's are very expensive speakers. If you have any technical ability whatsoever you will be able to succesfully refoam your JBL's and save around 400 bucks. Great repair kit and pretty fast shipping.

I was givin two Bose 802 speakers with the surronds copleatly rotted. no wonder they sounded so bad.the local speaker repair shop wanted a 125.00 apieace to fix them and I rememberd parts express had kits for them. bought two kits and followed the instructions very easy to use, but take your time. for less than the cost of them fixing one I fixed both.It took me about 4 hours per cab but they sound great.

Surround Kit For 11" Dynaudio
No problems at all for installation - went very smoothly. Result is just-like-new. However, surround is stiffer that original, driving up Fs from ~20 hz (original) to 32 hz. Vas also drops, and compensates. Performance in my enclosure very similar to original.

PE lists this as for 70's Infinity 10" woofers in their catalog . Unfortunately they don't fit 80's models as Infinity encased 3 surfaces of the outside ring with a glued on hard plastic moulding so I was unable to use these .

very nice kit, fit perfectly, specialy the back ridge where the suround meet the cone, perfect angle of ridge.dust cap look exactly like original, the only thing not like original is that when you look with light you see through the suspension a little more (transparent)not a problem.i recommend 100%

Surround Kit For JBL 2245
Foam surround is good quality; matches original's dimensions. Dust caps, however, are barely large enough, and difficult to fit. I threw them away and used 260-381 instead. Which begs the question: why not include the 260-381 dust cap set (only $1.57!) in the kit, instead of the undersized ones that are in there now? That's tweak #1. Tweak #2 would be some black cement for the dust cap: some that matches the original, instead of the white glue that dries clear.
One more beef: it says on the package "It's easy!" Trust me: it ain't easy. It's a lot of work. Especially getting the old gasket off without tearing it up.

Surround Kit For 9" Advent
Foam surround kit was a perfect fit for my vintage smaller Advents. However, included glue was dried up in a single glob and was un-useable. Luckily, I already had glue on hand.
Didn't feel like sending product back, so just used my own glue.
