I have used this midrange in a three
way speaker with a 400 HZ/2.5KHZ 12 dB cutoff...it was remarkably open and detailed with low distortion
with complicated orchestral passages and voices, it will outperform some dome midranges due to the bottom end that domes can't do so well while not
neglecting the higher midrange spectrum either. The rings in the cone are probably responsible for
breaking up of resonances and thereby reducing listening fatigue (I never experience any from it) as opposed to the more "pretty"
straight cones. Worth the price and then some, don't underestimate this cone midrange because
of its looks.

I have used this midrange in several econo speakers and the sound is surprisingly good,decent dispersion and very little harshness.I x-over at 800Hz and 5000Hz.It mates well with the Pioneer ADD64-56F.

It is a shame that we have turned into a 2 way speaker world. Most people do not get to hear what a good 3 way system sounds like. This mid range is the best at any price, and is worth many times it's cost. The voice reproduction is out of this world. I compare it to the Fisher speakers from the 70's and 80's. Yes it is that good. Build a 3 way system using this driver, and you will never go back to a full range speaker or 2 way system. Thanks for a great product.

This product has excellent midrange sound reproduction. I have used it in two of my speaker projects and I have been very saticfied. It is very crisp and clear as well as visually appearling. It works very well with Dayton Audio's three-way cross over (part number 260-210)
as the midrange driver. I am also pleased with the high end response of this driver. Overall this driver is very high quality and I am very pleased with its performance.
