Very good product. Strong and well constructed. If you carry junk in a trunk that rolls around and punctures subs, this grill is the answer.
Excelent product.

Dayton HDSG-12 Heavy Duty 12" Speaker Grill
I bought this to cover my Pioneer TS-SW3041D 12" Subwoofer. It is a well constructed grill but was too small for the speaker. The speaker is almost 1 inch larger in diameter than this grill. As a result I could not use this. Check your dimensions before you order.

Dayton SG2230-6RFL Flat Metal Grill Pair
These came with a corner bent a little, but otherwise perfect, and just a bit oversize--perfect for my needs.

15" Economy Speaker Grill
These grills feel much sturdier that I expected. They are definitely bendable if you were to drop a 60lb speaker on its face but I try to take care of my gear and just needed something to keep peoples feet/fingers out of my woofer! Very pleased.

Perfect protection for the subwoofer in my kid's trunk. Heavy Duty!

|
Dayton HDSG-18 Heavy Duty 18" Speaker Grill
Grill should be sold with heavy duty clamps as one item. This would save shopping time searching for clamps.

|
12" Economy Speaker Grill
If you plan to use this grill for a long throw sub.
Be careful as it has limited clearance. Also diameter is very small.

10" 2-Piece Steel Mesh Speaker Grill Black
It's hard to find decent aftermarket speaker grills to fit your application. These are decent looking and do a great job of hiding your screws. It's a two piece grill. One ring that can go behind the speaker and then you just pop the grill on after the speaker is in. Or you can put the speaker in and then put the ring on top of the speaker for a cm or so more clearance.
I used these on my girlfriend's sub enclosure that I built and it makes for a very clean professional look.

Dayton SG1828-8R Formed Metal Grill Pair
Definitely worth the money. Very professional looking and durable. Be advised that these are formed but not welded at the corners; also, the edges can be quite sharp. Handle with care, and make sure the edges aren't exposed.
I'm using these with a pair of bass bins; I've recessed the baffles one inch, so the grilles will sit flush with the edges of the boxes. I'm installing blocks at the corners, plus a couple near the center; I'll be screwing the grilles to these blocks with truss-head screws. You need to do this both to give the grilles adequate support against unwanted impact and also to keep them from vibrating.

Dayton SG1522-6R Formed Metal Grill Pair
pros, when building a custom cabinet for subs or driver/horn combos, these grills are the way to go to your equipment that clean and professional look as well as solid protection. cons, actual dimensions are 15.25 x 22.5 x 1, so you may just want to wait for them to arrive before building your cabinet.

Dayton SG2230-8RFL Flat Metal Grill Pair
Used this grill on a 16x28 2-12 bass cab screwed every 6 to 8 inches with spray on rubber coating on the inside surface and it still rattles. Would not recommend

Dayton SG1522-8R Formed Metal Grill Pair
This product is slated to be used on a proposed new sub-woofer product to be marketed this Summer '09. Metal was bent on one corner (shipping?), but easily fixed. Product is solidly built and painted with good fit and finish: looks professional. Gives good clearance (1") for driver x-max. Easily adapted to my design.

15" 2-Piece Steel Mesh Speaker Grill Black
I got one of these for a 15" quattro sub I built for home theater (5.5 cu ft, 4" port 15" long). It looks great once it's fitted over the sub.
However, you should note that you MIGHT need to do a bit of modifying to get it to fit, depending on the driver you chose. The back half of the grill that stays fastened to the enclosure didn't fit behind the 15" quattro.
I ended up mounting the driver first, then flipping the mounting bracket for the grill around, drilled pilot holes through the driver's frame, and put in a few screws to hold the grill bracket in place. The other half of the grill fits on perfectly and looks wonderful!

6" Economy Speaker Grill
The grill is very well made, but will not work for me. I needed something no lager than 6 inches for my speaker project.

Dayton SG2230-8SFL Flat Metal Grill Pair
This is a great grill. Nice and thick and if you take your time it can be cut easily with a sabre saw (with a metal blade). If you want your project to look pro - this is the ticket.
