Neutrik NC3FX XLR Female Nickel
I'm using these for an unusual application; headphone extension cables.
I'd bought some prefab ones and they died quickly and annoyingly.
These connectors make for MUCH more heavy duty cables. They are on the low cost/basic end of Neutrik's assortment of XLR connectors, but they are MORE than solid enough for this (and almost any other) application.
As with all Neutrik stuff, I love the security of the strain relief and the ease with which you can solder onto these. All other brands feel flimsy and antiquated once you've dealt with the Neutrik stuff...

Neutrik NC3MX XLR Male Nickel
I've used a lot of XLRs over the years, mainly Switchcraft, and these are truly a pleasure to install. No little set screws to deal with, yet the product is durable and looks great. Plus, the metal sleeve is short, so you don't need as much space behind the equipment.

Dayton XF3K XLR Female Cable Mount Black Satin Connector
Great product and reasonable price for gold contacts.

Neutrik NC3FRX XLR Right Angle Female Nickel
These Neutrik right angle XLR's are great, especially when working in tight places. They go together quickly like all Neutrik connectors do. They work fantastic. They look good. I used them on a drum kit and they really helped keep the mic cables out of the way. I personally think that they are way over priced. But, if ya gotta have em, ya gotta pay the price.

Neutrik NC3MRX XLR Right Angle Male Nickel
I have purchased several items and find it rather tireing to go through this same format for each item.

Dayton XM3K XLR Male Cable Mount Black Satin Connector
Black body and Gold plated contacts for a reasonable price.

Neutrik NC3FX-1 XLR Female Nickel
I would highly recommend these XLR's for those who like to 'roll their own' cables. They are durable enough to solder without worry. They fit is great. They look good too. Grab some quality mic cable from partsexpress and make your own interconnects, whatever size u need. You get a great end product and save alot of money too.

Dayton XM3N XLR Male Cable Mount Nickel Connector
These connectors are easy to assemble and seem to be well made. I've had good results with them.

Dayton XF3N XLR Female Cable Mount Nickel Connector
These connectors are pretty good so far for a clone. This is coming from a dedicated Neutrik addict, and there is none better than they are. I attached these to some Mogami quad for pro audio. The boots don't thread very easily and be mindful of gun temperature when u are soldering or u will have a nice melted mass in short order. Time will tell how they fare in the rock world.

Neutrik NC3MRX-B XLR Right Angle Male Black Gold Contacts
The incredibly versatile Neutrik right angle XLR is now even better with an internal plastic shield to prevent accidental contact of wiring with the housing.

|
Neutrik NC3FRX-B XLR Right Angle Female Black Gold Contacts
The ability to get the desired angle on the connector is a big plus.

Neutrik NC3FXS XLR Female w/On-Off Switch
I have used one of these for many years and I have never had a problem....Until one of my Bandmembers ran over it with a heavy amp.It came out ok but I had to replace the cord. Now I have two. They are very quiet. I use it with a high end Shure mic. Good price.

XLR Type In-line Male 3 Pin
Very cheaply made. The shell seems to be a very lightweight aluminum. The solder points on the inside are very thin and cheaply made as well. Definitely not what i expected.

|
XLR Type In-line Female 3 Pin
Easy to work with and very good construction. The stress relief boot keeps your soldering work from being strained. I am sure I will buy more.

Neutrik NC3MX-B XLR Male Black with Gold Contacts
Neutrik still make the best connector anywhere.
|
|
Neutrik NC3FXX-B XLR Female Black w/Gold Contacts
Great connectors, the only issue I have with these is that the solder leaks into the female sockets (with a sparse amount of solder I might add) making the connector useless since you can't mate it up with another connector. Just angle the connector back towards you.

|
Neutrik NC3FX-B XLR Female Black with Gold Contacts
I've used this product before and found that it meets my expectations. It is easy to make cables using it and it makes good contact at the connection.

|
Neutrik NC3FX-BAG XLR Female Black
Dont take a chance with inexpensive wire or connectors. They are NOT all created equal.
If you want high quality connectors that are serviceable and can trust to work perfectly every time, trust Neutrik.
I've been trusting

Neutrik NC3MX-BAG XLR Male Black
very straight forward, you pay big bucks for pre-made cables, it's much more cost effective to make your own

Neutrik NC5FX XLR Female Nickel 5-Pin
They make some of the finest connectors on the planet! I just used one of these on one end of a stereo microphone cable. The only complaint I have is that pin #1's solder terminal isn't slightly oversized so that it'll hold two full shields. Trimming them down a little and soldering one to the other, I was able to get a nice fit. But it would've been easier if the "cup" was larger. Ah, well. The cable sounds great and the connector fits the microphone much better than the cheap cable that RODE sent with it. Apart from the solder terminal issue, which wasn't a big deal, this connector was a breeze to use. Much better than other brands (who shall remain nameless).

|
Switchcraft AAA3FZ 3 Pin XLR Female Silver Pins Nickel
As with the male version; all-metal tough body, excellently-designed solder cups, and super-easy assembly!
Blows away the "world-standard"; which, yes,I have also used...
Sound in my system with these and the right cable is faultless...
The P-E price is icing on the cake!

|
Switchcraft AAA3MZ 3 Pin XLR Male Silver Pins Nickel
ALL metal shell (not half plastic) for longer life and better shielding; pins that look much better than Brand "N"; and most importantly, SUPER EASY to solder and assemble (only two pieces!)
And then there's the price...!

Neutrik NC3MX-1 XLR Male Nickel
These connectors are every bit as good as my old Cannon XLR connectors. Nice stress relief for the mic cord too.
