These little guys saved me a lot of grief. I truly believe they are exactly what I say in the title. Plus, they are the lowest profile right angle RCA adapter I could fine anywhere. However, they are somewhat pricey at almost $15/pr. I guess you get what you pay for.
On the male end, the spring loaded center AND ring accomodate the user by expanding to fit snug on old RCA inputs that may no longer be their original shape. This was critical on one of my amplifiers; so much so that all other right angle connectors would cause static due to the poor contact.
The female end is slightly oversized on the outside ring, and slightly undersized where the center pin is inserted. This makes for a nice tight fit. These puppies are going nowhere once in place.
