Gold Plated Crimp-On Banana Plug 16 Pcs.
Not a lot to say about these - seems quite well made, plating nice and even (flows solder well), they seat well in my amp, and the boots are adequate for what they need to do.
However, I chose to solder mine in place but crimping is going to present the same issue - when using 10ga stranded (PE #100-028/029/030) the fit is just a bit too tight to readily get all the strands into place without major fiddling. I was able to get maybe 1/4" of the conductors into the plug - plenty to solder in place, but crimping would have been very questionable.

Dayton BAGS-G Banana Speaker Plug 2 Pair
I'd like to mention these draw down tightly on even very fine wire. Some banana connectors will not. Also of course, these have the advantage over the dual types of being able to work with amps that have the female jacks spaced widely apart. Very good value for the money, especially when you consider the plastic junk for the same price or more Radio Shack offers...if you can even find any at your local store!
Buy a set and try them!

Dayton BASS-GRB Banana Plug Pair Set-Screw Type
It might have been an ok product if it cost 20-50 cents and one did not need to invest in watch repair tools to actually mount speaker wire in these plugs.
This product is poorly thought out for consumer use and is way, way too expensive. To install 5.1 surround sound you need 6 pairs (7 if want the same plugs to go into the sub-woofer), i.e. $30 for plugs at least.
Just clamp those wires directly into the back of your A/V receiver and spend $30 on something you need like a universal remote.

Dayton BACT-GRB Banana Plug Pair Compression Type
I dislike the look of side-feed banana plugs, so I went looking for end-feed and these fit the bill. They look great and have a good feel to them. On the down side, since you need two per cord, a home theater install can quickly run up the bill. I spent as much on these as I did on the oxygen-free 14/2 cable to setup my system. That said, I'd do it the same if I did it again; they make a huge difference!

Banana Plug Black
Most bananas are exorbitantly expensive, like the 4 banana sets routinely in retail stores for 10 to 20 dollars each. Buying 10 of these in black, and 10 of these in red, you'll have enough bananas to wire all 5 speakers in a basic home theater for under 16.50.
If you use 16 gauge wire you'll have no troubles from the get go, and 14 gauge is also quite easily accomodated, though I have used some 14 gauge wire which had a thicker jacket that needed a bit of trimming with a utility knife before it would fit under the nice plastic polarity indicators provided. It might be a bit of a stretch to get 12 gauge wire to fit in these (although the physical wire itself should fit, you may run into trouble with the jacket). This is the reason I gave performance a 4.5 instead of 5. It is also of note that the polarity indicators are optional, and you can use just the banana, in which case the entire banana (without wire) is only about an 1 1/4 inches long for tight spaces.

Dayton BPAA-AU Audiophile Angled Banana Plug Pair
These connectors are great for making custom speaker cables. The best feature is that the cable exits the connector at an angle so this way there is less stress on the cable. This is real nice when connecting to speakers that have the terminals up high. Also these connectors are smaller in size so they will fit terminals that are close together. Also the locking feature is great.

Gold Plated Dual Banana Plug Black
I have been a Parts Express customer for several years and have yet to find a product I didn't like. These do the job well; but, there seems to be a bit of a trade-off in durability over some others I've used. The plastic seems to be softer or a little flimsy for lack of a better term. Otherwise, this would be a 5 across the board. Still a GREAT value.

Gold 12-16 AWG Solder Type Banana Plug
Attempting to crimp on this part has caused every piece to break. It appears to be gold plating over aluminum or brass and the base metal is not suitable for crimping. They probably would solder on ok.
Other then that they look fine, they fit binding posts well and are nice and thin (why I choose them)

Dayton BADP-GBK Gold Dual Banana Plug Black
The only thing I wish this dual banana plug had was the "strain relief" that some of the other ones have. But, a major plus with this one is you can tighten the screws by hand, which is the best of any of them!

Dayton BPAX-AU Audiophile Banana Plug 2 Pair
Very nice finish on these connectors. Perfect for making custom speaker cables. I like the locking feature, this way you don't have to worry about the spring loaded banana plugs losing their tension over time.

Dual Banana Plug Black
These work so well that I will never buy the gold plated ones again. I'm using outdoor electrical cord as speaker wire and it fits perfectly in these units. Even put heat shrink over them to seal the connection.

WBT 0600R Topline Banana Plug Red
I did not want to spend the money on these high performance German made banana plugs.I have a set of the Radio Shack Gold locking bananas which are designed well, work very nice [used solder joint], and are much lighter in mass than these. But they don't come close to fitting my new 7 AWG speaker cables though. I wasted time and money trying cheaper "knock offs" but the machining tolerances and split tip design were not correct. The stiffness of the Goertz Boa speaker cables made conventional push in bananas not suitable for them. The WBT 0600 Bananas were the perfect solution. I ended up using their crimp sleeves and gold crimpers and the two set screws on the barrel. I exchanged several technical emails with WBT Germany and they were very helpful. They even emailed me the Crimpen PDF to explain the recommended technique. Overall I am very pleased with the product. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. I am sure the midline series will work just as well.

I love these WBT banana plugs. They have great quality, but I dislike the high price. The good news is they should last me a lifetime.

It's the best, but the Euro exchange rate makes it expensive.

WBT 0600W Topline Banana Plug White
Please see review on the 0600W Red TopLine. Great connectors for large [stiff] AWG speaker cables consisting of stranded / braided wire. This will work well with the crimp sleeves. I used these to terminate the amp side of a set of Goertz Boas and it is difficult to form the dual flat copper conductors into a round shape to fit into the crimp sleeves. So not recommended for heavy gauge [7AWG max] flat cables unless you have some experience with wires, pliers, and crimping. I am very pleased with the final connection though. If you are considering these connectors then you are serious about good audio and these are about as good as you can get with a banana connector. Parts Express is a good fast provider of high end audio parts
