Power-Sonic PS-1250F2 Sealed Lead Acid Battery 12V 5Ah

Power-Sonic PS Series rechargeable sealed lead acid batteries are leaders in their field. They adhere to industry-standard form factors, but lead the way in high tech features and competitive pricing.

Each battery uses valve regulated, spill-proof construction, and is made of rugged ABS plastic, allowing for safe operation in any position. While these batteries have an extended shelf life and may be quite useable up to one year after being charged, Power-Sonic recommends recharging at least once every six months for maximum battery life. The PS Series are humidity-resistant and can be discharged over a temperature range of -40° F to +140° F. Connection by F2 quick disconnect (0.25" x 0.032").

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Security System Backup BatteryThe push on terminals are wider than the previous batteries I've used. I didn't want to replace the crimp lugs on the original security system lead wires so I made two adapters.Otherwise this battery is a good value and worthy of a 5-star rating.

Power-Sonic PS-1250F2 Sealed Lead Acid Battery 12V 5Ah

I am building a garage sterio with a car reciever. I have the ac/dc convertor powering it and it works well but if i unplug it i lose a presets. So can i put this in line with the dc power to the reciever  and just let it charge off of the convertor ?

Asked by: 231pontiac
This would maintain presets, but you would be safer adding in some form of charge controller like a battery tender to keep the battery from overcharging,

How can I connect this battery to the Lepai 2020 DC in jack? Also, how long can I expect the battery to last powering the Lepai? Thanks!

Asked by: manoskate1
You can expect 4-6 hour play time with this battery assuming a full charge at moderate volume levels. You will need a DC power cord like the one below in order to connect to the battery.

I'm planning to use this to power a Lepai 2020. Can the power supply for the Lepai be used to charge this battery? The Lepai converter is 12V, 3 amp. Is there a limit on how long it could be left on the converter due to over-heating/over-charging?

Asked by: BobbyL
Unfortunately the power supply will not act as a charger, you will need a dedicated 12V SLA charger for this. The part number for one we offer is 365-008.
