Product Details

Power-Sonic PS-12350NB3 Sealed Lead Acid Battery 12V 35Ah

Power-Sonic PS Series rechargeable sealed lead acid batteries are leaders in their field. They adhere to industry-standard form factors, but lead the way in high tech features and competitive pricing.

Each battery uses valve regulated, spill-proof construction, and is made of rugged ABS plastic, allowing for safe operation in any position. While these batteries have an extended shelf life and may be quite useable up to one year after being charged, Power-Sonic recommends recharging at least once every six months for maximum battery life. The PS Series are humidity-resistant and can be discharged over a temperature range of -40° F to +140° F. Connection by heavy duty terminal post with nut and bolt.

Power-Sonic PS-12350NB3 Sealed Lead Acid Battery 12V 35Ah

Would like to use this unit with my starter solar array for camping , your thoughts?

Asked by: stankatz01

How many charge discharge cycles can I expect? How deep of a discharge (volts) is recommended? Is there an expected life in years?

The application I am researching is a UPS/ battery back-up intended to run through power outages, not just for enough time to shut down safely, but to stay up and running as required.
Asked by: Gball
you should get between 200 to 300 cycles for the batteries. When you use theses batteries on a UPS it will have an automatic shutdown feature built into the unit and it will shut down before and not allow you to go below the recommended voltage... 1.5 volts below full charge is the lowest you should go after that you will damage the battery. You will get a good 10 years out of the batterys with using them as back up in your ups setup and dont forget you can add multiple sets to up your run time.I use a 670 watt APC UPS at full power with two of these batterys in series @ 24 volts 35 AH and I can get almost 2 full hours of use when the powers out

Good for automotive use?

Would this battery hold up for use as the main battery in a car?
Asked by: RobC
Unfortunately no, this is designed as a backup battery for UPS or security systems and only has a 35Ah output. Most car batteries are a deep cycle type and have a cold crank output starting around 300-400 amps depending on the size of the battery.
