Plastic Cabinet Handle
Plastic Cabinet Handle is rated 3.5714 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from weak plasticOK for the price (cheap). These were to replace JBL handles (exact replacement-didn't think JBL was so cheap) that pulled off, cracking plastic. Somebody lifted them with the handle horizontal instead of vertical I guess. Screws pulled right through the plastic. Used 4 extra, bigger pan head screws on each this time to prevent repeat, hopefully. They are OK if you are gentle with them. For roadie use, get the steel ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent value.I have used this product on a number of speaker builds for pro sound use. I have only one complaint: Because the handle portion protrudes out from the mounting surface if you lay a cabinet down on a side that has one of these handles (such as a guitar 2X12 or 2X10 cabinet) it will not sit flat unless you have feet installed on that side that are taller than the handle. I installed these handles on a pair of 50 lb. speakers about 4 years ago. These speakers are used on a weekly basis for gigging. Not one problem! Something to think about too. If they get a scuff you'll never notice whereas if steel handles get a scuff through the paint surface you'll be encountering rust before you know it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from light dutyGreat for a single or double speaker cab.If your building a half stack or larger, get the metal handles. If used properly, they'll last a lifetime. First time you lend out the cab, it will come back with a broken handle (if it comes back).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic handlesThese are light duty cabinet handles. They work just fine, but on my 15" Kustom PA cabinets, they break after a year or two. At this price point, however, it is easier to just keep buying new ones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Plastic cabinet handleThis is the exact same handle used on the Hartke VX2500 combo amp, with the single 15, a horn, and the HA2500 250w amp, except for the Hartke logo in the middle, which is no big deal to me. The original handle broke when I tried to carry the cab sideways by one handle, which is the only good way to get it loaded into the back seat of my car. You MUST carry that cab vertically by both handles, or they will break. Metal handles would probably be better, but would add more weight to the cab.

The closest all metal handle I have would be from Dayton and is about a half inch taller that this one. You can see it below.
