from Not bad as a computer/mini system subProbably not powerful enough for a full sized system. But that really should be obvious, It's a 100 watts(MAX) 8 inch sub. You're not going to get earth shaking subsonic bass out of it.My current setup is this:Computer - Dell Inspiron One 20 all-in-one (running Fedora 20 KDE and setup for bitperfect 16/44.1)DAC - HIFIMEDIY Sabre Tiny USB DACAmp - Lepai LP7498ESpeakers - Pioneer SP-BS21-LR'sSub -Pioneer SW-8MK2 (running in to the high level inputs from the Lepai LP7498E)Wide open on the crossover and a little over half way up on the volume and the sub blends nicely with the SP-BS21-LR's.My only complaint is the price. It's a little on the high side.

from I have to agree with "Redneck"This sub has very low output. At full volume it wouldnt even put out as much bass as my 5 1/4 book shelf speakers.

from waste of moneyThis is billed as a subwoofer in my experience this product should not be referred to as such. Low extension only around 45 hertz limited output if you need a midbass module this might fit your needs if you prefer your listening on the quite side. What it does produce is in fact quit good just not subwoofer range

from Outstanding unit! This unit is much better than the 8" Sony it replaced. Tight bass right out of the box. Auto standby is a great feature. Excellent Quality for the price. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.
