Does anyone know the mounting hole spacing? It is not shown on the dimension drawing.

so if I want my main speaker to be held securely above the sub by a foot or more, would I use 2 of these? In other words, one could go into the top panel of a sub, and a second one into the bottom panel of a main, and then a tube between the two?
Yes that is correct, you could use two of these for that application.

Good replacement for my RCF subwoofer pole mount?
I have an RCF ART 705 subwoofer. I've been putting my Wharfdale 15" full range speakers (mobile DJ type, about 45#) on a straight pole on top of the sub. A clubber yanked it pretty good and the speaker cup on the sub (aluminum with RCF logo) and it broke. I need to replace the cup with the strongest friggin' thing you've got.
This is a one piece steel design so it is very strong. As long as the mount you are replacing is 1-3/8" this should work pefectly.
