Peerless 830985 2-1/2" Full Range Woofer
I have a Bose Soundlink wireless music system that look like this ( http://worldwide.bose.com/productsupport/en_us/web/soundlink/page.html ), I was wondering if I purchase this peerless woofer will this work on my Soundlink?
We do not have a cross reference available for this type of thing. You will have to compare the dimensions of the existing driver with this. As long as the dimensions and impedance match up it should work fine.

I want to use these for a portable, battery powered speaker set up running off a PAM8403. How do things change from the box design listed if I want to use 2 or 4 in the same enclosure. Or should I make separate ones with given dimensions?
The enclosure volume doubles with two drivers or quadruples with four, as does the number of ports. They do not need to be in their own enclosures, but bracing is recommended.

Bass quality is very important to me : Will this speaker deliver deep bass ? Aren't they too bright ?
Deep bass, no. Almost all speakers that are smaller than about 5-6 inches in diameter will not deliver deep bass, that is, bass that reaches into the 40's or lower. This driver has an Fs of over 100 Hz, so the lowest useable frequency range you will likely get from it will be around 80 Hz, which will only really be possible from a near field listening position at lower volume levels. Whether it is too bright is subjective.

Recommended enclosure? Will it, two of those, work inside 7x4x2 inch case. As a sidenote, what parameters suggest compatibility with such a dimension.
The recommended enclosures for this driver are listed on the product page. Two of these would work well in that enclosure assuming you keep it sealed, but they will only play down to about 150 Hz.
