Peerless 830657 6-1/2" Paper Cone SDS Woofer
Hi, I would like to replace my old Peerless woofers (165WF 33/100 PPB 8 ohm model: 831599) with the newer Peerless model 830657- are these compatible?
If not could you please recommend a suitable replacement?tks!
I was not able to find much information at all regarding the 831599 woofer to compair the two. What type of enclosure/design is the original in?

Can use this driver with a couple of passive radiator SDS 5-1/4?
Active 1 X 830657 Passive 2 X 830880
I would only use one of the radiators. You want to have an even cone movement.

car audio application
would this be suitable for a mid range and what of the T/S parameters would tell me that it is.
t/s deals mostly with bass,, paper gets wet and deforms faster over time in cars,,car metal pulls current out of the wiring by inductance dulling and reducing volume 4 ohm coils are used in autos to get more sound and these drivers are deeper than most doors allow ,, already tried them.

Is there any way to shield this so I can put it close to a TV?
While some DIYers have had success installing bucking magnets on drivers so that they can be placed closer to CRT televisions, we would recommend instead buying a shielded driver.
