Peerless 830657 6-1/2" Paper Cone SDS Woofer
Whats a good vented and or sealed box sizes?
The best response I can come up with is with a 1.665 cu ft ported enclosure. Using 1 4" port 8.6" long. This tunes to 41.75hz and has an f3 ~37hza sealed enclosure has a smoother roll off but at the expense of low end. It increases power handling and decreases size. A lot of trade offs here. You can go with a .7 cu ft enclosure which puts your f3 at ~74hz but increases overall output ability with higher power.Depending on where you want to cross them over and whether you intend to implement a sub, I would actually suggest the sealed box and a sub. If you are looking for more extension, lower your power and your crossover point and go with the bigger ported enclosure

Can use this driver with a couple of passive radiator SDS 5-1/4?
Active 1 X 830657 Passive 2 X 830880
I would only use one of the radiators. You want to have an even cone movement.

Is there any way to shield this so I can put it close to a TV?
While some DIYers have had success installing bucking magnets on drivers so that they can be placed closer to CRT televisions, we would recommend instead buying a shielded driver.

car audio application
would this be suitable for a mid range and what of the T/S parameters would tell me that it is.
t/s deals mostly with bass,, paper gets wet and deforms faster over time in cars,,car metal pulls current out of the wiring by inductance dulling and reducing volume 4 ohm coils are used in autos to get more sound and these drivers are deeper than most doors allow ,, already tried them.

If not could you please recommend a suitable replacement?tks!
I was not able to find much information at all regarding the 831599 woofer to compair the two. What type of enclosure/design is the original in?
