Peavey SA-3 Tripod Speaker Stand Socket 1-3/8"
Peavey SA-3 Tripod Speaker Stand Socket 1-3/8" is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Trust LessI installed a pair of the Peavey SA-1 1-3/8" Stand Adapter Flanges and am grateful for their steel quality.I have a pair of JBL 215 (2-way) speakers. Recently I have found in some venues I need to get them off of the floor. Typically I placed them on top of a pair of Yamaha 118 subs. However a 4 ' - 5' height has provided a much more open sound.Having tried a couple of lesser made speaker sockets and had near tragic failures, I purchased a pair of these Peavey sockets. With hard use an not much overall care, they have held fast and kept my speakers aloft on their stands. It is great that they ship with screws and T-nuts for a quick simple installation. I removed the grill and bottom 15" speaker, checked my allignment and interior clearance, hole sawed, pre-drilled the T-nut holes, slid in the socket installed the screws and put the speaker back together. Done and exactly what was needed. Secure and strong enough for the JBL's weight.
