Five 1/4"-20 top-mounted inserts, two side-mounted 1/4"-20 inserts, and one bottom-mounted 1/4"-20 insert are built in for wall or ceiling mounting, flown, or stacked in arrays (additional hardware required). Additionally, the water resistant cabinet (grill not included) is designed to work with Peavey Versamount speaker mounting systems. Peavey Rockola 6.5 Fullrange 6.5" Speaker with Enclosure and Multiple Mounting Points
Peavey Rockola 6.5 Fullrange 6.5" Speaker with Enclosure and Multiple Mounting Points is rated 4.6667 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Unit!I just received two of these today as i took the advantage of the wicked deal! But two slight issues, they have tons of leaks which is easily fixed with gasketing tape and the driver is a woofer so i am running tweeters within the same enclosure and create a two-way system. Other than that very well done by Peavey!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had to try them, and I like themI was looking for single driver speakers for my TV system main left and right speakers. I don't like using multi-way speakers for regular TV viewing because they tend to muddy up the dialog and have too much bass. I have some very large DIY tri-amped speakers for watching concert videos or movies, so I was looking for something for regular TV only. I compared them on my studio desk to an old Radio Shack Lineaum 5" 2-way speaker and these don't have as much low-end or high-end, but that did not concern me. Where these excel is midrange clarity and blending in with the rest of my 6.1 surround system. The quality of the cabinet and driver appears to be very good. The mounting options worked out great for my situation. I didn't like the input screw terminals so the first thing I did was remove the terminal cup and modify it for a Speakon chassis mount connector. I installed the 2-pole part number 092-059 because I had a pair on hand, but I would recommend the 4-pole part number 092-067 only because I have a lot of 4-pole connectors and cables. I forgot the 4-pole male won't fit the 2-pole chassis mount. I would only recommended this modification if you are confident with a Dremel tool.

How much room do you have between the top or the bottom of the 6.5'' driver to mount a tweeter?

Asked by: Calera05
The distance between the driver frame and the inside edge of the cabinet is 2-1/4".

I have a low watt vintage tube amp that "overproduces" in the high frequency range but otherwise sounds good. I currently only own two and three way cabs and the highs are just too harsh. Do you think a single driver system could help solve this problem?

Asked by: eyevibe21

For those of us in the "Hi-Fi" single driver camp, would these make a pair for that use, as long as a sub fills in the low end?

Asked by: David B
They can certainly be used for that application, yes.

Do you only sell enclosure? I already have better drivers. I just need the enclosure.

Asked by: TunT
Unfortunately no we do not have just the enclosure available by itself.

Where can I purchase grills for the Peavey Rockola 6.5 speakers?

Asked by: jesselockert
Unfortunately I cannot say specifically. These are a buyout item so we do not have any other information than whats on the website. I would recommend contacting Peavey directly for a possible solution for grills.
