Expanding on one of the most successful and most often imitated portable PA systems in the world, Peavey is proud to introduce new and improved versions of its innovative Escort portable PA systems.
The new Escort takes the reliability, portability, and audio quality of the original and combines it with state-of-the-art features such as digital multi-effects, Midmorph® EQ technology, USB MP3 player, Bluetooth (Escort 6000 only), and the patented FLS® (Feedback Locating System). The rugged construction, ease of use and transport, and Peavey's unequaled sound quality makes the Escort systems perfect not only for performers of many kinds, but also for educators, presenters, houses of worship, mobile DJs, and virtually anyone who needs high quality sound reinforcement in a totally portable package.
The Escort 6000 has nine total channels available, seven of which have XLR and 1/4" combination jacks for microphones or instruments. The eighth and ninth channels are Media channels, with channel eight having RCA stereo and 3.5 mm inputs. Channel nine comprises the USB MP3 player, which is designed to play your MP3 files from a thumb drive, as well as a dedicated Bluetooth receiver, which allows you to wirelessly stream media from your iPod or iPad, smartphone, tablet, laptop, or most any Bluetooth capable device. How cool is that?! Each mic/line channel has individual level control, 3-band EQ (with Peavey's exclusive MidMorph® control), and effects level control. The effects section is completely revamped, with over 30 digital effects available for mics and instruments, including reverbs, delays, chorus, and vocal enhancement, and the effects can now be switched on and off with a remote footswitch (not included). Also new to the Escort 5000 and 6000 are the addition of dedicated line level outputs for subwoofers and monitors, adding even more flexibility and value to these already outstanding systems. There is also a master 7-band graphic equalizer with Peavey's patented FLS® (Feedback Locating System) so you can completely tailor the sound for your specific tastes, and the nuances of various venues.
