Peavey 10 ft. RCA to RCA Patch Cable

What is the gauge of the wire used?

I need an 8-10 foot cable for my subwoofer, and this seems to be about the only one PE sells. Unfortunately there's no indication of what gauge wire Peavey used - it's not listed in the product description. Would you happen to know what it is? I'd rather not have something using very thin wire.
Asked by: JimW
I'm not sure what gauge wire is used in this product, but I can tell you that if you have a sub-woofer with with high input impedance (greater than 10K ohms) and a source with low input impedance (1K or less ohms) it is considered voltage bridged and there will be very very low amperage being transferred (pure voltage is best for signal transfer). There is no reason to have high gauge patch cables. If you've had problems with patch cables in the past it is due to lack of shielding, not wire gauge.
