Battery Powered Bluetooth Wireless Audio Receiver with Power Supply White
Cut the cord on your smartphone, iPod, iPhone, iPad, tablet computer, or laptop and enjoy streaming audio wirelessly (up to 32.8 feet) to your stereo receiver using this battery powered Bluetooth receiver. You can even add Bluetooth functionality to car stereos with a 3.5 mm (1/8") auxiliary input. Also works as a fixed-gain wireless headphone amplifier.
The small receiver fits in the palm of your hand—great for users on the go—and complies with Bluetooth 2.0, as well as A2DP v1.2. A 3.7V, 250 mAh lithium polymer (Lipo) battery is built-in and allows you to stream Bluetooth audio for hours, even when there isn't a readily available power source. A mini USB port is built onto the housing for charging the battery over a computer's USB port or the included 5V 500 mA power supply and included 29.5" USB A male to mini USB B male charging cable.
Pairing is quick and simple: turn on your connecting device's Bluetooth function, set your device to discoverable, turn the Bluetooth receiver on (initially indicated by alternating red and blue flashing LEDs), locate the SF-LY001 on your device and select it, finally enter a PIN of 0000.
The alternating red and blue LEDs will change to a flashing blue LED once connected, and you are ready to start streaming audio. Stereo 3.5 mm male-to-male patch cable or stereo 3.5 mm male to stereo RCA adapter cable required for operation (please see Related Items section on the right for recommendations).

This battery powered Bluetooth receiver is fairly sensitive to audio inputs. If you experience distortion, it is likely caused by overdriving the wireless audio input from the source device (such as a smartphone). If you experience distortion, turn the volume down on the source device from maximum to half volume level. The maximum volume level without distortion will vary by source device.

Note: The USB connection on this device is for the charging of the internal battery only. Audio is sent out via the 3.5 mm jack only. The USB cable included is not meant for use as a data cable. Ground loops can occur (hum or buzzing sound) when used with a grounded (3-prong plug) power source.
