The BVX Series subwoofers from Bravox are purpose built to deliver massive SPL, extended bass response, and to do so at a very low distortion level. To do so, Bravox combines advanced acoustic engineering with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to create this ultra modern subwoofer.
For a solid foundation, Bravox starts with a thick, rigid aluminum cast frame that increases power handling by acting as a heat sink. Dual extra large CONEX® and Santroprene spiders are assembled atop a polycarbonate vented base for efficient voice coil control during high excursion moments and offer long term mechanical stability.
A high stiffness injection molded PMCF (poly/mica/glass/carbon fiber) cone is used to resist deformation at high power levels and is mated to a parabolic Santoprene for linear excursion while maintaining a large piston area.
The high 500°F temperature 2.5" four-layer dual voice coil is mounted onto a fiberglass former for an extreme 1,200 watt RMS power rating. Platinum-plated 4 mm hex head power terminals allow for maximum power transfer from your amplifier and keep wire connections secure.
