Bravox component speaker sets represent the ultimate in car audio sound quality and are tuned to match perfectly with Bravox subwoofers. The CS50CF 5-1/4" component speaker system was designed to provide a solid stereo image. A carbon fiber cone is used for the 5-1/4" woofer with integrated phase plug for extremely accurate, dynamic midbass while a Santoprene® rubber surround and Kapton® former voice coil offer durability and extreme power handling.
A liquid-cooled, neodymium-powered 1" silk dome tweeter provides articulate frequency response, as well as natural sound, and can be flush or surface mounted using the included mounting hardware.
For seamless transition from the woofer to the tweeter, Bravox built the custom 2-way crossover with a 0/-3 dB attenuation circuit switch that tailors the sound according to the installation and polyswitch tweeter protection.
