Digital Pocket Scale 500 g / 16 oz.

Purchased three of these scales. Had them calibrated. One of them would not tare it was DOA. The other two were out of tolerance I.A.W. the specifications. At 100 Gm. The specifications are listed at +/-0.05 g. one indicated 100.2 and the other indicated 100.1. At 500 the spec is +/-0.1, one indicated 500.6 and the other was 500.9. For all intensive purposes they will do the job. However they do not meet the manufactures speculations.

Very accurate--I checked it with standards at work. Ounce measurements would be nice, sincce I intend to use it occasionally as a kitchen scale. I bought because of an e-mail sale offer, with a price I couldn't resist.

I just got this scale and can't vouch for it's longevity but it is well made and very accurate. I tested this unit with a few different calibration weights and it was dead on. You can't beat the price and performance.
