Pocket Infrared Thermometer with Laser Pointer

I bought this for of all things, BBQ and cooking. It works great for that. Now, I know when to drop in the next piece of chicken. Since then I have used it to check the temperature of the surfaces of the walls and ceilings, to determine where the leaks in the house are. Great little tool.

Well made. Laser pointer is offset so it is not pointing at center of the field of view. Be sure to understand the area measured is a circle with diameter 1/6 of distance from tool, and how emissivity affects what all IR thermometers measure

This little handheld temp taker is perfect for getting the actual temp of various computer parts when you are trying to get the most out of your computer. It's couldn't be simpler than point, shoot, read. Only downside is that you have to open it up to change the F or C temp reading (most specs are in C, but here in the US we're F types)
