Excellent Equalizer Monday, June 8, 2009
Jeff from Whitehall, PA
I have used professional eq's throughout the last many years in both DJ and PA installation work. I needed an eq for listening to music at home that was priced reasonable with decent quality. This has both. For around a $100 you get lots of inputs and outputs, just enought bands, and a nice sprectrum analyzer to keep you entertained. I have tested with the eq both in and out of the loop. I cannot detect any audiable noise, hum, or degraded sound quality. Bottom line is excellent sound to my ears. Quality out of the box is excellent.

About 1 year ago I reviewed this product. Since then the graphic eq stopped working. sent it in. when i recieved the eq the right channel did not work with eq on. the service dept returned the unit for free and it was ok for a few months. now the right channel is cutting out again! I might have a lemon but beware of this EQ.

Great for fine tuning sound to your preference. Spectrum analyzer is a visual treat. If you are still enjoying vinyl it can greatly reduce turntable rumble, and high end fine tuning can eliminate some noise on less than perfect records.
