You get more than you pay for
Monday, October 12, 2009
Buddha from White North

What's to complain about? If get two channels of quiet, quality amplification for $100 you should be happy. But then you also get volume and balance? And auto switching? Binding posts, bridging capability, A/B selection? An absolute no-brainer if you need an integrated for a couple of line-level sources.

If there's one thing I would improve, it would be the volume control - the balance is off at very low levels. Yes, you can trim with the actual balance control, but that's why 'Performance' gets 4 stars.

In any case, this thing drives my DIY 2-ways with ease and enough loudness for any *responsible* listening level.

You'll need more power if you like The Who at full blast and your speakers are small and / or insensitive. But if your haut-parleurs are north of 90db and you have reasonable expectations, you shouldn't be disappointed.

If you're spending $99 on an amp and have time to complain about all that it isn't, you should be ashamed of yourself. This little overacheiver is giving you all it's got. Maybe you need to spend more to get...more.

Great for distributed sound
Monday, October 5, 2009
Carl from Florida

I own two of these. I have them daisy chained on a line out off mi primary yamaha amp for zone out put to the Kitchen and Outdoor speakers. I am very happy with the sound. Realize the tone adjustments come from your source. This is just an amp. For distributed sound in a house they are great. With good speakers they would rock with as an iPod/MP3 dock-assuming your player was putting aut a good eq. I would buy another. I have had no problem with the auto off running the line out from my main amp.

amp 100
Saturday, August 1, 2009
birddog from Unknown Location

Great amp.I'm runing it in mono mode to my center channel. It doese great keeping up with the bigger amps. The only reasen why it pops when you turn it on is because you are running a lot of power in mono mode. All you have to do is put selecter speaker b on first.Turn on the amp and then hit selecter a on.Then let her rip.It doese great.
