Both channels of audio are combined into one location, replacing a conventional pair of stereo speakers with Allison Acoustics' stereo ceiling speakers. These are ideal for use in order to place both channels of sound in areas that aren’t physically capable of having two separate speakers such as hallways, foyers and bathrooms. Each speaker contains a combined polymer cone woofer and two high performance polycarb tweeters that work together to deliver earth shaking lows and ozone reaching highs. Single unit frame construction and screw-foot pull down makes for an easy installation Specifications: *Woofer: 6-1/2” co-polymer woofer *Tweeters: Dual 1” swivel polycarbonate tweeters *Power handling: 10 watts RMS/300 watts max *Impedance: 8 ohms *Frequency response: 35-22,000 Hz * Dimensions: 8-1/2” dia. *Cutout: 7-3/8” dia. *Mfg. #: AL6ICS *Sold individually.

Good sound for ceiling speaker

Am using this speaker in my 2 car garage and am happy with its performance. It is installed in a enclosed space between ceiling rafers. The box size is approx. 1 cu. ft. and is lined with fiber glass insulation.
