TIC GS10 Mini Omni-Directional Outdoor Speaker Pair

The sound quality of these is definitely a problem. All they use is a 5 1/4" driver. It doesn't even have a whizzer cone or anything. It seems like they would have been much better off using a 4" or even 3" full range driver for at least SOME upper frequency response. These have none. They would make a great project, though. Figure out a way to replace the driver with a better one. In their current state I do not recommend them. They sound like 2-way speakers with a disconnected tweeter.

After hooking them up, they sound as you would expect, not great, but acceptable for background music. They do offer a variety of mounting options, and they seem well built. PE did correct their description to state it is a dual cone.

I use these with a small amp that I run my Ipod through. Sound great.
