The HT622BDP In-Ceiling Bi/Di-Pole Surround Speakers have many of the similar features as their in-wall counterpart. They feature “Real World Tuning” that provides off-axis sound quality which dramatically improves flexibility in mounting locations compared to traditional in-ceiling speakers. For rear mount ceiling surround applications, the HT622BDP allows for the design of a complete “in-ceiling” home theatre system, without compromising sound quality. Sold in pairs. Specifications: *HT822BDP *8” Glass Fiber Cone Woofer *Dual 20 mm Cloth Dome Bridge Mount Tweeters with PTC Protection *Fixed 30 degree angled tweeter baffle *Front mounted Bi/Di Pole switch.

When only a ceiling mounted surround speaker will work as in there is only one side wall or no side walls,this speaker does a remarkably good job as a true surround sound speaker.
