The Usher UA701 was created for Dayton Audio by world-renowned audio authority Dr. Joseph D'Appolito. Dr. D'Appolito's engineering prowess, in combination with the Usher 9930 1-1/8" tweeter and 8945A 7" woofer, has produced one of the most exciting speaker systems available. Joe D'Appolito designed a speaker that is smooth and non-fatiguing, with accuracy rivaling that of many commercial studio monitors. Proven-quality Dayton and Jantzen components are used in the superbly optimized crossover. The beautifully finished "traditional" straight-sided enclosure is rigidly braced and acoustically inert.
