Dayton C1500K 15" Powered Subwoofer Kit

This sub sounds awesome, the only problem is hummmmmmmm, it seems to be a comon problem with these amps some how the low level shield is comon with the ground on the ac outlet and should be for heatsink, should be an easy fix for the manufacturer, the only way to get rid on the hum is to either break the ground pin off the plug or isolate it with a 3 to 2 prong adaptor and not ground it.

I received the unit quickly (Thanks, P-E) and had it assembled in about half-hour. The dimensional tolerances were so close I never thought to be concerned about leakage.

The sound is very deep, dynamic and powerful (The grill keeps popping off). Now for the real reason I bought it We use this sub to enhance our band's PA system. We have a decent PA but the bottom end was lacking. This little devil fills the bill. We're not a working band; we do this for fun. But we're dead serious about our equipment and serious about our sound. We don't have the budget to buy the $800 - $1,000 powered PA-subs but you should hear what this little box does for our drummer's Bass drum on his Roland e-drums and for the bottom end of my keyboards.

We're older now and play relatively few gigs but we're particular about the sound and this little box delivers like you wouldn't believe! If you're on a tight budget but want a decent sound, I wouldn't think twice about getting one of these!

just got it set up, working on fine tuning it. sounds better the more it breaks in. a very good value for the money.
