The Dayton Audio Sub-80 8" powered subwoofer is the perfect choice for use with compact home theater systems or a multimedia setup. The front firing, dual ported bass reflex design uses a long throw woofer to produce deep, clean bass in a small space. The amplifier features gold-plated high and low level inputs/outputs, a phase switch, independent volume control, an auto on/off switch (activated by an input signal) and a variable 12 dB electronic low pass filter. Includes a high pass filter output for satellite speakers. Works exactly how I thought it would

I purchased this 8" HT powered sub to go along with my desktop PC speakers I just built. I wanted to help my two 4" speakers out by installing a 100Hz highpass crossover in them and installing a little sub to pick up the slack. Everything worked out great and Parts-Express even honored the current sale price ($79.00) 3-4 days after I purchased it originally for around $95.00. A great value and a great service.

I purchased this as part of an upgrade to my computer audio setup. I have it paired with a set of AV123 ELT-525 monitors and the audio is amazing. It's the perfect complement to the monitors with tight, well-formed low-frequency response. The cabinet is no-frills, but not cheap-looking. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend this product to others.

Both sound amazing in my smaller room! I use them for both music listening, as well as music production! They compliment my Cantons perfectly! Just don't max out the gain, I have mine set under half way, and crossover set to about 100 hertz.
