This subwoofer is a good value for the price. Bass is clean and crisp and rumbles nicely. My ear is not perfect, so I am pleased with the sound and the value. PE does a nice job of wrapping and shipping. wrk

Wow..... Thursday, August 20, 2009 Jeff from Columbus, Ga
I was very uneasy about this purchase until I opened the box & connected this little gem. It looks far better than the pictures on this or any other site. The finish is perfect & the sub has a nice semi-gloss textured apearance. I pulled the sub & stuffed the cabinet with a little less than a pound of polyfill. I tightened the amp hex screws & resecured the woofer. The wire inside is a little "cheap" & it going next.
I live in an apartment & a 12 or 15 incher would be just a little too much right now. This sub fills out my LEF's in movies & is pretty good with music also. I have it paired with the Dayton HTS 1200 surrounds. I am very satisfied with this purchase & cannot wait to get my hands on a Reference Series or Titanic once we get into our house. Even with this 8in. sub., I am limited to around 1/2 volume @ 80hz crossover.
