This high power high performance speaker switch features pushbutton switches for independent control of 4 speaker pairs. Amplifier is fully protected against low impedance and overload by a protection On/Off switch. Switch is located on the bottom so protection can't accidentally be switched off and damage the amplifier. Color coded pushbutton, spring loaded terminals accept up to 14 gauge wire. Comes with button identification sticker sheet for easy identification of rooms. Compatible with all amplifiers. Black in color. Power handling: 100 watts RMS per channel of input power. Dimensions: 8-1/2" W x 2" H x 6-3/4" D. Net weight: 2.2 lbs.

While not exactly inexpensive, I think we got what we paid for. The low impedence protection is certainly worth something. Aside from high quallity, reliable switching what more would one ask of a speaker switch? Plus, it was very easy to install, with the quick release connectors on the rear panel. And you can use up to 14 gauge wire; so what's not to like?
