Dayton US830W 8" 3-Way In-Wall Speaker Pair

I will be buying everything from Parts Express from now on, love the Dayton products, they have multiple lines that allow you to choose the correct speakers for the application and price range you are needing. Top of the line for the media room and good quality entry pieces for the kids room

Overall I'm pleased with the performance of these speakers. However, don't expect a lot of bass response, even though they are 8" bass drivers. If you don't have a separate subwoofer, you will be disappointed. Everything else was satisfactory, and I would buy them again.

The installation should have been a lot easier. The confusion stemmed from the cutout templates that are provided. The template is basically a cardboard "ring", but there is an inner ring and an outer ring. I cut the hole for the inner ring, and it was not big enough. Easy to fix, but just wasted time and created a bigger mess with the drywall dust.

I installed these in my kitchen and they sound amazing. I have no complaints. Very easy to hook up.
