Dayton US620W 6-1/2" 2-Way In-Wall Speaker Pair

I used a pair in a basement theater room as surround speakers. They sound great and, when painted to match the wall, almost disappear!

It has only been one day, but I was so pleased with the results of yesterdays project I felt I had to report. I installed the former version of these speakers (PE ebay store) in a first floor ceiling 6 ft apart and 6ft downrange of my favorite seat. I modified the ceiling by building enclosures, about 1 cubic foot, inside of the rafters one particle board at a time with a braid nailer and glue. The "boxes" were sealed with caulk. No insulation available and too eager to wait so I hooked them up empty along with PE's latest subwoofer bargain famous maker 10" sub. Wired to a retro Onkyo A5 and a Sony dvd/cd player and the pivoting tweaters aimed at the sofa. WOW!
I could not be more pleased. I had a pair of Bose 191 on reserve which will be returned to the store today!
