SOLD OUT!! Vifa TP16WJ-06-08 6-1/2" Woofer 8 Ohm

A lot of drivers called smooth are not, but this one is. Very smooth response to both LMS and the ear, quite clean, medium efficiency. Distortion is not ultra low, but it's pretty good for the money, except in the low bass. This is not an ultimate bass 6.5", and is somewhat lacking in mechanical excursion capacity, making it best used with a sub, or at moderate levels. In that case it's a very good driver for the $$.

Anybody know if these polymer frames hold up outdoors (UV) long term?

Was surprised by the quality of this speaker and the value. Was going for a simple replacement woofer, but was amazed by the sound that came out once I installed them.

These speakers are poor performers in a MTM configuration. No bottom end response to speak of(I only expected a minimal amount). Duplicated an earlier build that sounded great, except the addition of these speakers, and they pale in comparison to the dayton da175's. I'm sending 'em back.
