worked extremely well in my MTM speaker project, paired with HiVi SD1.1-A tweeter, crosssed at 3k using dayton crossover, 0.75 cu. ft. ported cabinet stuffed with polyfill they sound better than my Advent A1104's and my Polk Audio Monitor 40's. cabinet materials were salvaged from dumpster at a cabinet shop so total invested in the pair was $110.

These are also terrific!
I m going to use 2 of them (wired in series) above & below the 297-140 Alesis 1 Shielded Soft Dome 4 ohm Tweeters that I also bought (wired in series). This makes a D Appolito 2 way WTW system! The last time I purchased from Partsexpress I got Vance Dickasons cookbook. A 12 dB/octave 2 way Linkwitz Riley crossover comes highly recommended for such a system.

I just put these in the front doors of my Grand Cherokee and they sound great, just the two of them put out more bass and sound better than when all 4 6.5" speakers were in it. (Only have the front set until I get replacements for the rear). Long story short they were well worth $19.00 a piece.
