HiVi RT2II Planar Isodynamic Tweeter Aluminum

Slightly more detailed than the Daytons, and a bit more efficient, but still deciding which of the two I like best.

I have wanted to use a pair of these in a build project for a while now and finally got it done. Not only do they look good, they sound good too. I have used aluminum "true Ribbons" in my last two projects, so these had big shoes to fill, but did a great job while not costing as much as their aluminum counterparts. Very quick but with a nice smoothness about them, very easy to listen to with a great top end. The front plate looks very nice but if space on the front baffle is tight, it could be a problem, just use the Dayton brand planar in that case.

I put these in Wayne J's "Veritas" project and couldn't be happier with the results. The speakers are amazing and look even better. The aluminum faceplate give the Veritas a very dramatic appearance and of course they sound amazing. I would highly reccomend these tweeters they are incredibly airy and fast without being harsh or tiring on the ears, they are very clean. Very satisfied, worth a few bucks more, nice build quality.
