Aurum Cantus AC-165 6-1/2" Carbon Fiber/Kevlar Woofer

First, thanks again to PARTS EXPRESS for their dedicated and excellent customer service. And fast and accurate shipping of course.
I got this woofer crossed over at aprox., 3300 hz (2nd order)in a passive crossover, along with a MOREL MDS-29 tweeter. I added it's respective zobel network to the woofer, and the "remains" of high frequencies were gone. Very precise and well constructed woofer, and, very dinamic !!, i'm really starting to enjoy music right now.

I have some diy speakers and I replaced my drivers "Vifa P17WJ-00 6-1/2" to these "Aurum Cantus AC-165 6-1/2".The only thing I can say is: WOW....what a big improvement!.the bass is tight and strong,the mid-range is clear and detail. I strongly recommend these drivers.

Bought these as they are a good fit to replace some flimsy woofers on a pair of floorstanding mission speakers - made an absolute world of difference. Really tight, much heavier bass, quality mids. Plan to replace the remaining 4 with these excellent cones. Small for 6.5s though.
