Dynavox LW6004PMR 6-1/2" Woofer
Dynavox is the best kept secret in high end loudspeaker drivers. They were engineered in France and their motor structures were optimized using Finite Element Analysis techniques. The mid-bass drivers feature die cast frames, butyl rubber surrounds, one piece polypropylene cones and huge 3" voice coils. The unique motor structure uses magnets located inside the underhung voice coil. The result is a vast improvement in driver linearity and a reduction in harmonic distortions. They also feature vented spider and pole piece to reduce air compression and ensure maximum power handling.
