Dayton DCS380-4 15" Classic Subwoofer 4 Ohm

I used two of these in an infinite baffle. I was advised to use much better woofers but decided to cheap out. I'm sure better woofers would be even more impressive, but I have louder lower cleaner tighter bass than anyone else I know, and I didn't have to be a millionaire.

Bought it to go with subwoffer project. I also got a amp earlier to go with. Only complain: hard to hookup thick wires to amp. Speaker and amp work well together. Can't wait to finish.

I installed this in a 4 cubic foot box with a slot port tuned to around ~20hz, powered by the Dayton 240watt plate amp with bass boost. LPF is set to around 60 hz.
It is a very nice sounding driver, very smooth and accurate. I use it for both home theater and music by adjusting the LPF on the plate amp.
It shakes the house with only 240 watts but I wish this sub had more xmax. With test tones, I have gotten around 20 hz which is pretty incredible, however the sub starts to bottom out. Given that it was around $80, you can't get a better deal on a basic 15" driver.
