Dayton PF460-8 18" Cast Frame Driver 4" VC

this really isnt bad but for the specs, and cost you could buy selenium and some eminence, seems that there own lable should be less , around 135. i'd say

I love this driver so much that i bought four of them .. I currently use one of them to power the super bass in my theater system with my projector (in my basement). I have a peavey 1500 amplifier and this driver delivers what they say it does and doesn't miss a beat doing it. The transformers movie sounds and feels better than the THX certified theater I watched it in. The sound and bass and earthshaking and rivals any store bought sub (that could cost thousands). A hidden gem in deed.

I use this & other 18" PA style drivers in a unique design & these give smooth, loud & clear response from about 17Hz-9KHz (that's seventeen to 9 thousand). Of course, nobody else uses them this way. That's fine by me - makes 4 an interesting product! =)

BTW, U 'Dayton' guys should offer an underhung 18" in aluminum (metal is better if just want lows, but the mids/highs suk). I have some custom designs if U wanna sell 'em - 'cuz I would like 2 buy 'em W/out having 2 do a huge run :) E-Mail me @ terabyte_pete@hotmail.com
