12" Square Frame Paper Cone Woofer White

I've been looking for replacement speakers for a while, and also won't break my wallet. I purchased these woofers to replace the old ones in my 3 way pioneer towers. I was very surprized how well these sound. I record and play my own music. and these work awesome for the price and value plus performance, you can't beat it thanks.

These woofers are a great CHEAP replacement. I am satisfied with them for what I used them for. But they are far from anything you'd want to use if you are looking for higher end sound or building your own speakers.
I installed them in a pair of big old 80's Pioneer house rocker speakers. They LOOK PERFECT in the cabinets! The mounting flange is cheap, soft stamped thin guage steel (as is the rest of the basket) and I had to use a ton of strip caulk to fill in the channel to seal the driver's edge when mounting. Realistically, I didn't have to do that, because the cabinet has a huge vent port anyway, but it would be a problem if someone was installing these in a sealed cab. Although that shouldn't be an issue either, because who's gonna put these in a sealed cab?!?
The sound from these drivers in the cabs I installed them is pretty loose, not well defined, and not very deep. Overall, a great cheap quick replacement, but sound is marginally acceptable. Can't beat the price but don't expect more than what you pay for here.

Strong bass response without extreme input power. Running 50Watts rms into them with great results and powerfull bass.
