Eminence Alpha-6A 6" Midrange 8 Ohm

Excellent speaker, fit holes perfectly to replace mid-woof driver on old Fried ported two way speaker. Porting of the speaker box required a bit of bass adjustment (to be expected) but sound was very clean in the mids, musical, and happy to have bought American.

I highly recommend this speaker. Not much to say except that it sounds fantastic. If you are using this as a replacement speaker you should consider upgrading your caps on your crossover too.

I used to sware by EV's for mid range.I used to have 4 10's and they sounded good until I went with these 6 1/2 Eminence's and for the price of these to me they sound a lot better then Ev's.Why spend 250.00 for Ev's when you can spend 160.00 for 4 alpha 6a's and be more impressed,and have them hidden where no one can see them.So I recomend these to everyone that think's Ev's are the truth.I have 4 alpha 6a's on a 400 watt Lanzer amp and you can here me coming from 6 city blocks away,(NO LIE I TESTED IT AND YOU COULD HERE THE WORDS CRYSTEL CLEAR)when I had my Ev's I had 4 10 inch on a 600 watt rockford power punch and you could only here me coming from 3 city blocks.so you do the math.these are the truth #1 for the price and size..........
