Dayton DC28FS-8 1-1/8" Shielded Silk Dome Tweeter

Bought these in the Dayton monitor kit. Paired up with the Dayton 6.5 shielded woofers, these babies really sound good. I have bought two more of these to use in a set of dual woofer tower speakers. While installing them I barely touched the dome and it dimpled in. However, with a little care the dimple was popped back out and there is no evidence that it ever was touched. These should definitely be covered with a good speaker grill. They have a very solid feel to them.

I bought these in the TRI TRIX kit and have been very impressed. They sparkle in the top end but dont clip or hurt your ears to listen for a long time. I would recommend these to anyone starting out in DIY.

Dayton's silk dome tweeters are excellent choice's for many builds. Highs are detailed and airy and will certainly garner you some compliments on you finished project
