I bought these as a to test out for possible use in a line array but ended up not needing them for it.

They mate to the $2 full ranges very well on the small scale but are not needed for arrays with 40+ drivers.

They are easy enought to mount. Just drill a 42mm hole and they drop right in.

I just got these tonight so I've only played around with them a little bit. I put them in an array of 36 with 6 in series per group and the 3 groups in parallel for a total of about 12ohms. It was just whipped together to test but they did decently. With a little eq'ing they seemed fairly flat from about 300hz to as high as I could hear. There was some response down to about 120hz but not much, however with 200 of these I'm confident they'll go down to that for the final speakers. They were also fairly hard to drive with a 120watt Harman Kardon receiver so with 100 in each speaker it's probably going to need some serious power. My biggest gripe about these speakers though is I have no idea how I'm going to mount them permanently. I'll probably use a couple of wooden dowels and some hot glue as a temporary solution though. All in all though I'm happy I got these and would buy them again.
